Cut too much off
He was removing a dead nail. I wrote on my hand "please take only dead off". He could have folded the tip skin to center. He cut the tip end and folded front to back making it shorter.

Not at all.
I wrote on my hand, pre surgery, only to remove the dead tissues. Had he done that my finger tip would be round. He cut the top off and made it a flat tip. He had the tissues to make it round and female. But he went against my written request to save living flesh. I had heard he was a good listener. My experience of now having a blunt, male finger tip shows he does things his way with no concern for patient request.

I fell in my front yard and broke my right wrist. At 63, this was my first bone break. It was painful and I was scared. Dr Paukert made me feel confident that everything was going to be OK. Dr Paukert has the best bedside manner of any Doctor I have ever been to. After the surgery, everything went well and I am healing as expected. Thank you Dr Paukert and Staff! I have been seeing him since February this year 2016. He has performed 4 procedures for complications from bunion surgery. He made me feel at ease in a situation by prior Dr's who told me I might lose my toe! I have worked with his father for many years, but had not had the pleasure of meeting him. He performed debridements, integra application, and a graft and flap. When I went to see him in the clinic he was dressed in a suit, he said, " I like to dress nice for my patients" Awesome, Edie P.

I was extremely nervous about having my surgery,and had never had any type of surgery before. From the first visit to the last as well as the actual day of the procedure, he was focused on addressing any questions or fears that I had, explaining every stage of the experience. Always calm, I did not have one moment when I did not trust him completely.
