Dr. Mary Alvarez, MD

Dr. Alvarez has been my PCP for many years now and has been the common denominator in the both the maintenance as well as the growth of my well-being. Her care is deeply astute and always creative—as an MD who’s open to multiple proven modalities for treatment, her Rx’s are wholistic and thorough. She’s an uncommon physician and I am so grateful she’s in medicine—she’s made an enormous difference in my life because of it.

Judgemental and lacking in compassion! Ive had two knees replaced and had been experiencing pain in one of my feet on my last Feb visit . I am experiencing such pain from planter fasciitis that I asked for a temporary parking permit until it improved. I would expect a Dr. I had been seeing for years to be sympathetic, not totally dismiss my pain and refuse until she saw EVIDENCE that I had tried do something about it! I wasn’t asking for narcotics! This sums her up in a nutshell!

Dr. Alvarez has been my doctor for a few years now, and she is such a breath of fresh air in the Western medical community. She has a unique perspective and seeks to look at issues and how they are interconnected. She doesn’t just treat symptoms, she looks to help a true healing take place. She believes in getting a complete picture in order to really help her patients. This is very similar to how naturopaths work, and more medical doctors should take such an approach. She’s my favorite!

I've been working with Dr. Alvarez for my healthcare for a few years now. She has had excellent besside manner and has been very helpful and informative.

Was excited to meet with Dr. Alvarez but it was a waste of time and my copay. Judgemental. She wasted my time "treating" an issue that I didn't even come in for. Didn't help me with anything that I came in for. Definitely would not recommend.

Complete waste of time and money! Horrible experience, I had two visits. I thought I should give it a second chance but that was a mistake.
