horrible dr. told me nothing was wrong. turns out i have a foot of dead colon that has to be removed. thank goodness i went to another gi dr instead of continuing with her

I would highly suggest using Dr. Benson. She did an excellent job with my surgery. I felt from the moment I first met her, I was in good hands and that is exactly how my whole experience was.

Do not use the person! She is a bully and over steps her authority as a surgeon. She refused surgery because she said I need to do an biopsy that has nothing to do with her. She was receiving appointment notes from my oncologist. Dr. Benson has took it upon herself to dictate what I should and shouldn’t do. She is not an oncologist, therefore what happens between a person and their doctor is NOT her concern. You don’t need this type of doctor in your healthcare.

DR. BENSON IS ONE OF THE MOST TALENTED AND CARING GENERAL SURGEON. She has done multiple surgeries on friends and family!! She is one of the BEST!!

Was in a serious car accident on Hwy 87. Air lifted to Sacred Heart. She put me all back together again. Never saw her to even thank her, but the gratitude is now passed to here.
