I had the great pleasure of having Dr. Callsen as my PCP for 15 years. I have recently moved so I had to say good bye. She was professional, caring, and competent. I will miss her.

I recently went to see Dr. Callsen to follow up on subclinical hypothyroidism lab work. She was very kind and talked to me about my different options. When I asked to not see my weight (triggers disordered behaviors), she respected that and did not bring up numbers during our visit. I know a little bit about thyroid treatment options, so I discussed this with her and never felt like she was dismissing my knowledge or experience. Overall, I felt listened to, which is what every patient wants. I appreciated her kindness and empathy.

I’m shocked that she doesn’t have a 5 star rating! This woman practically helped me get my life back. While other doctors dismissed me time and time again she was the one who listened, cared and believed that I was not well and that there was something wrong. I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis finally. She never gave up on helping me and made sure I was properly treated. She is a no frills type of doc. She listens and gets to the root of the issue. Most of all she treats you with respect

I have been going to Dr. Callsen for over 10 years. She listens to my concerns and makes recommendations. Thankfully I have not had any serious health issue except a bout of Mono which was misdiagnosed by urgent care and another doctor in her office (she was out on vacation) but quickly, accurately diagnosed by Dr. Callsen. If you are looking for a super warm experience, she is not the doc for you. Dr. Callsen has a businesslike bedside manner which I like but may be off putting for others.

This woman lacks compassion... she lacks communication skills and she has a decidedly odd manner that is quite off-putting. Visiting her for me was a dehumanizing experience.
