My husband and I saw her together. Dr. Dobson rushed into our examining room and I explained to her that I have had issues with basal cell cancers for 30 years now. She laughed. I told her I needed a thorough exam. She did not give me one. She gave each of us a perfunctory glance and sprayed her little can of stuff on us. My husband is also a doctor (a pediatrician). He was unimpressed. We refer to her as the drive-by dermatologist. Avoid if you need to be seen by someone who gives a rip. I see a derm in a different state now.

Dr. Dobson is always very thorough and professional in her demeanor, yet very warm and personable. She is very gracious and takes the time to speak with me and explain what she thinks is the diagnosis and how it should be treated. I’m very grateful to have such a fine physician treating me.

I trusted her over a period of time to treat and diagnose a blood blister type nodule on my ankle area. She’s treated and removed what she said was a planters wart. I went back to her because it came back so large this time but had changed to a pink colored lump. She cut it out and threw it in the trash. This ended up being skin cancer. I have been through 5 surgeries, radiation, hyperbaric treatments, acquired a staff mrsa infection and chemo. The cancer ended up spreading to my lymph nodes.

I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Dobson, but she instead put me in the hands of her esthetician, Leah. Leah performed a laser peel on my face and neck at a higher level than what Dr. Dobson recommended. She wasn't even suppose to use it on my neck. She said it would improve the health of my skin. What a load of B.S. My face and neck skin changed dramatically within two months. My skin is now extremely dry, wrinkly, and bumpy. I also have small scars all over now.

Dr Dobson is great! She has never given up on me, and my mission to get clear skin. I have psoriasis, eczema, and rosacea, if something doesn't work, we try something new. She offers great advice on how to manage my conditions, explains my conditions, and always tells me the next step of treatment if the one we go with doesn't work. It helps to keep me positive and optimistic. She always checks for suspicious moles, and luckily caught a precancerous mole on my back, before it metastasized. ???

She called me back for a 2nd biopsy. It turned out she had read the report wrong. I went through the anxiety and trouble for nothing. She didn't even apologize. She just said, Well, it looks like we got it all! It was a long wait to see her. To top it off she said, I hope you didn't have anything important to do today. Or something to that effect. She obviously thinks my time is not important.
