NOT Knowledgeable, nor patient friendly.
This doctor attempted treatment for 11 months. My frustration grew and grew with my condition NOT being positively impacted. I questioned her more and more until she told me to find another doctor. In THREE weeks of treatment with a new dermatologist my condition was completely in check. She was horrible. Intolerant, unkind, unwilling to hear her patient out. Every.single.visit.

I've seen Dr. Hutchins twice now and I've decided that I like her. I wasn't sure after the first appointment because she has a very harried (rushed) vibe about her. But during the second visit, when I told her I had another concern to discuss, she stopped in her tracks and listened to me. I would recommend her, but I would warn people first that she's very quick. I believe she is very friendly and clearly wants to help her patients though.

Dr. Hutchins needs to be more respectful of patients and their boundaries. She is quick and impatient and made me very uncomfortable. Before she whips a patient’s gown off, she needs to warn them and ask their permission. I made it clear that I wanted specific moles looked at, but she proceeded to embarrass me by reaching into my underwear and making me stand virtually naked in front of her and the nurse. I am sure she has solid medical knowledge, but I will never return to that practice for another humiliating experience.

Quick and thorough evaluation. Evaluated another condition I wasn't scheduled for and treated that as well. Highly recommend this physician.

Found her to be in a hurry and not very patient friendly. My first appointment, she came into the room took one short look at my hand and said she knew exactly what it was. Well, after 2 appointments, antibiotics and creams, I had no relief and no other ideas from her. I fortunately found another doctor who took a skin scraping and gave an accurate diagnosis. Would never recommend her to anyone. Also, her office staff lack customer service skills.
