Dr. Mary Laville, MD

Dr. Laville always had the best interest of her patients at heart. I saw her for many years until i switched to a medicare provider. She listened and was open minded as far as approaches to issues. Dr. Laville is a good human as well as a good doctor. I never experienced her as rushed or unkind. She is calm and thoughtful, considered in her approach. The office environment is lovely. Privacy is secure. Staff was kind. She was always very professional. I work in health care and have a lot to compare - she is my first choice referral when it comes to gynecology.

Dr. Laville is everything a woman could ask for in a doctor. She asks the right questions and listens to your responses. She investigates results, she doesn't sugar coat and at the same time has genuine empathy and an excellent bedside manner. These things are hard to find in this day and age. When no other doctor would really "listen" to my problems she took the time to actually "hear" me and help me. My only regret is that she wasn't my doctor sooner. I suffered needlessly for too long. I trust her with my daughter's health and would recommend her to anyone looking for a compassionate, helpful doctor.

Dr. Laville has inserted hormone pellets on me. She is always kind and gentle. She has also done radiofrequency treatments on me in her office and always has been very gentle and caring.

Dr Laville is our anti-aging doctor. Dr Laville is thorough, careful and caring. She inserts the testosterone pellets expertly and painlessly. We are completely happy with Dr Laville and her office staff.

I love Dr. Laville. I just recently started seeing her as my physician. I have never had a more compassionate and empathetic doctor. She listened to me. Because of her and her diligence I have never felt better. Her staff is also top notch. Just an amazing office and experience! I would recommend her to every female that’s ever been ignored by their gyn. You won’t find a better doctor, believe me!

Dr. Laville has treated my hormonal imbalance for the last few years. She is kind and compassionate. She understands total women's healthcare.

I was referred by my Endocrinologist, at the Baton Rouge Clinic with whom she has worked in past and she is highly regarded by her associates. At 77, I have seen many physicians in my life and she definitely rates five stars.

Administrative staff & nurses were great. Dr. was annoyed she had to spend any time with any patients- she could not get out of the room fast enough. 3year patient but she didn't know what my dominating medical condition was-clearly had not bothered to read my file. Did not warn me before putting her hand in me & due to my condition, caused immense unnecessary pain. She started walking out while I asked questions & then treated me like I was an addict & wanted drugs for period pain. COLD

I am very picky about the doctors I use. Dr. Laville has been my gynecologist since 1995. She is an outstanding doctor who listens to her patients and answers all questions thoroughly. She also asks questions to understand my health status and recommends treatment for problems I have had through the years. I consider her to be the best doctor I have ever been to. I drive from Baton Rouge to Lafayette for my appointments with her.

Dr. Laville looks at the whole picture of your medical needs. Being that I was once a practicing nurse, she would have been a plesure to work for. Her staff is also very kind and helpful.

She seems genuinely concerned about my health. Does not try to rush my visit.

She listens. She is non-judgmental. She provides suggestions on remedying various health issues that I may be experiencing, even though I oftentimes don't follow through with her suggestions.

This was a first time visit, and Dr. Laville and her staff were very kind and helpful with questions I had. Dr. Laville listened patiently to my concerns and helped formulate a plan for addressing those concerns. I appreciated her attention and how she never once made me feel rushed to get through my appointment and onto the next patient.
