Dr. Lester and her team are amazing. Not just from the skilled surgical standpoint, but as kind and caring providers. I wouldn't hesitate to send anyone to Dr. Mary Lester. I had a double mastectomy with reconstruction and the entire time was a 'pleasure' for lack of a better term all due to Dr. Lester.

Worst plastic surgeon alive
I had a preventative double mastectomy and she was the plastic surgeon that did the second part flipping my back muscles to the front. She did a second surgery after my back opened back up to try and pull the skin together and then put me in a womb vac. She sent me home from the hospital with no womb vac supplies and no care set up so that I could get the womb changed without infection. I had to go to the ER to have it changed on more than one occasion because Mary Lester and her team were not able to get it together. She was THE WORST I would not recommend her to anyone

She is awesome. I moved to IN from TN. I had a breast reconstruction surgery that left me asymmetrical. I had 4 second opinion consults, and I'm so glad I went with Dr. Lester. Her "plan of attack" to fix it was different than the other doctors and I was left with results that exceeded my expectations. Other providers in the field (oncology, breast surgeon, breast cancer PT) assured me she was the best in the field. She also has a witty, fun bedside manner. 100% recommend her!

Dr. Lester was wonderful with my husband. Amazing bedside manner. She takes the time to actually listen to her patients and their concerns. She was part of a team who did my husband surgery yesterday. She even made sure I was okay and taking care of myself. I really wish we had found her earlier in my husband's illness.

I found Dr. Lester after extensive research looking for someone who can do Diep Flap Breast reconstruction. Dr. Lester came very highly recommended, and the moment I met her I knew that she was the one! She is warm, caring, and very down to earth. I had my double mastectomy and DIEP flap reconstruction a month ago, and I couldn't be happier with my experience.

Performed oncoplastic and breast reduction for me. A good listener, adjusts her information based on the knowledge base and interest of patient. Very responsive staff. Not a primadonna. An excellent surgeon.
