A Bit of an Alaro
I was a patient of Dr. McCormick’s for a couple of years but changed to another doctor in the Ochsner system when she told me that my liver was enlarged and that I had fatty liver disease. When she called to tell me this, I could hear her fussing at someone in the background. It was very unprofessional, and it turns out that she alarmed me needlessly. I’ve since seen two other doctors who have found no evidence of fatty liver disease. I’m an overweight women, so I believe Dr. McCormick leapt to draw conclusions based on personal prejudice.

Amazing Physician! The biggest reason I stay with the Ochsner Health System. Always kind and attentive. Thorough. Always listens to my concerns and answers my questions. Does everything she can to keep me healthy. Sends my refills to the pharmacy on time. Always follows up on questions, concerns or lab results! Has been my doctor for so many years and has given me excellent care the entire time. It is hard to get on her schedule though because she is busy. I could not ask for a better doctor! Love her! I highly recommend Dr. McCormick!
