Dr. Mary Pressler, MD

I needed a PCP and pretty much picked Dr Pressler at random. I'm so lucky I did! She's so kind and caring. I always feel like she listens to my concerns and works with me to make realistic plans to address them. She has helped me get a few chronic issues under control and I feel very comfortable with her. I have recommended her to other women searching for a GP

I've had one appointment with Dr. Pressler and found her not very accommodating to my health needs and choices. Prior to my first visit, I attempted to have labs drawn in advance so that I would be able to review the results with her in person in my visit. She ran the labs but was reluctant. A few months later, I requested that that same labs were drawn prior to my second visit. These labs are necessary for me because I have chronic health issues and I follow alternative supplements and lifestyle protocols. Therefore I need to monitor labs closely. I have been successful in this approach as my labs have proven. Dr. Presslers nurse refused the same lab requests the second time and referred me to a specialist. These labs include tests which are traditionally done by PCPs, including Comprehensive Metobolic and CBC tests. I am not sure if this is the case with Dr. Pressler, but prior PCPs are not friendly towards independent thinking patients, who are meticulous about their health

She was pleasant and took down all info that was needed as a first time patient.
