If I could give a zero or less rating, I would. She may be competent, but I will never know. All she did was talk down to me like a five year old and chew me out for being a smoker. Her first procedure to help my hearing did not last more than 24 hours. Then, when I told her this, she (of course) had to blame everything on smoking. Then she continued to yell at me because I was taking an over the counter nasal spray. She told me I needed a "Happy Nose" and I had an "Unhappy Nose". When I told her I had taken steroids earlier for my allergies, she told me "Those were LITTLE BOY steroids, we only prescribe "BIG BOY" steroids". Id finally had enough of her verbal abuse and told her to stop chewing me out. From there it went downhill quick since I don't think anybody ever stood up to her. I told her not to ever talk down to me again and she needed to change her bedside manner. She told me to stop telling her how to be a doctor. Well, somebody needs to. She is arrogant!!!

Poor bedside manner. Showed a lot of frustration with me. Interrupted often. Was condescending at times. Would not recommend or go back. Should not treat people that are in need of help with such rudeness.

Dr Rago has helped me a lot with my allergies. She has a strong personality that you’ll either love or hate. I like her but can see how she’d rub some people the wrong way. Her staff is incompetent. You’ll regularly wait for over an hour to be checked in, and they’ll be annoyed when you remind them you’re there. You will have problems with them messing up the billing. If you get allergy antigen mailed, you have to go through a laborious paper based process to request new bottles a la 1988.

I wish I had read the reviews before I went, she is not caring at all, I actually felt like she hated me being there. She belittles you and yells, I put my hand near my face, she yelled and said there are germs all over the office. Plus she called me Mam at least 10 times I will not go back to her ever ! Also, I was seen 1 hour 20 min. later than my scheduled time.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I have never been treated so rudely in my life by anyone let alone a doctor. She is condescending and rude. I am 70 years old and she actually yelled at me for touching my face and nose and literally threw tissues at me and said that it spreads colds. I don't have a cold. I forgot and lightly touched my cheek and she yelled at me and told me that she told me not to do that. I went to her for my paralyzed vocal cords and she didn't want to discuss that.

I have been fortunate to be a patient of Dr. Rago for 4 plus years. She has been instrumental in treating my allergies and sinus complications and also supported me extensively throughout a life threatening hemorrhage episode. I am very grateful for her care and concern.

She's one the most arrogant, uncaring, condescending Doctors I have ever had. She acts like she's doing you a favor treating you. Her office staff at Ohio Valley Hospital are a lazy bunch of incompetents that do seem to know anything about just anything to do with medical cover, and they dont seem to really care. No way could I recommend her it there an alternative to her.

If you enjoy being treated like a child who broke a rule, go see this doctor. She was not only rude and condescending, but also, on several occasions, claimed to have given me information that I know she did not. She literally yelled at me like I was a child. Her physician/patient interaction lacks empathy, compassion, and politeness. Unless you enjoyed being emotionally and verbally abused, do not utilize this doctor.

Very condescending. She asks you questions but doesn't even let you finish your sentence. Makes you wonder if she's really listening to your concerns. I came back for a follow up and waited for 65 minutes. Very unprofessional. How would they feel if I show up that late to my appointment. Definitely not coming back.

I am writing this on behalf of an elderly relative. She treated my relative like a child; the Doctor's behavior was rude, condescending, and a know-it all. My relative was quite upset by such ill-treatment. My relative wants to second each review on this website, and hopes that Dr. Rago will read these reviews and pursue a change in her approach to her patients. Dr. Rago also strongly suggested that my relative participate in a sleep study, strange...

When I first started to discuss my ear issue, Dr. Rago seemed to dismiss some of my previous medical consultations ( urgent care and a chiropractor that is very knowledgeable ). She said the only people who she trusts to diagnose water behind an eardrum is an ENT or a pediatrician. This makes no sense. She seemed aloof but at the same time knowledgeable. There are other doctors out there that I can better connect.

This is by far the rudest doctor I ever seen. I will never go back or recommend her to anyone. Easy to get a quick apt because her patients run after seeing her.

I paid twice for Dr. Rago's service and was completely talked over and bullied. Both times I left her office frustrated and angry. She is a bully and egomaniac. Thankfully I sought a second opinion and now am happy to say I found another Dr. Who actually listened and DID get me relief. Dr. Rago needs to get back in to touch with humanity.

The rudest Doctor I've ever seen. I had a severe vertigo attack lasting several hours. She checked one thing and dismissed me. Said off-handedly that I may have had a mini stroke; so I dashed to my pcp's office and he dismissed that. If you have a specific type of vertigo, with loose crystals, which I did not, she may be fine, if you can stand her abrasiveness. Otherwise, find an alternative! Now I need to find -and pay- another ENT to figure out what's actually going on.
