Imposes her weight insecurity onto patients
I had a rough first trimester where I experienced extreme fatigue and 24/7 nausea. The only thing to make my stomach feel better was eating a carb heavy diet. The other doctors in the practice weren't worried with my weight gain since my other numbers/health stats were "perfect" and after the 1st trimester I was able to take up low impact exercise. Dr. Smith would make comments about my weight and that it was recommended I only gain x during pregnancy. The final straw- at 36 weeks I asked about nutrition during postpartum like should I take supplements since I planned on breastfeeding. She told me that breastfeeding was a great way to get rid of the baby fat. Did that answer my question about nutrition for me and my baby? No. I confronted her and she started gaslighting me saying that I was always the one to bring up weight gain. I didn't trust her judgement since she was projecting her own weight insecurities onto me. I delivered with another doctor and hospital to avoid her.

Best Obgyn I have ever met. After a very bad experience during my first baby I was scared to death of having my second child.she was the one who took care of my pregnancy and was there until I delivered my baby. I recommend her to everyone. She is more than just a doctor. She goes out of her way to help her patients.

I highly recommend Dr. Mary Smith as she is a great doctor. Of the 4 doctors I saw at Kathy Wolf MD PC - Mary was the most responsive to all my needs and was very caring and took the time to answer all of my questions and concerns with my personal care and throughout both of my recent pregnancies. Dr. Smith is very kind and compassionate as well as knowledgeable. I highly recommend Dr. Mary Smith as she is the best OB/GYN that I have ever met.
