Wonderful
She is a very pleasant, caring doctor and made me totally at ease on the first visit. She was familiar with my medical history and moved on quickly to find the cause. So glad my primary care Doctor referred me to her

Dr. Mary Stewart is a fantastic physician/hematologist/oncologist. I would without any reservations recommend her to my friends/family. She is extremely compassionate and patient. She is extremely knowledgeable, intelligent and experienced, and yet, she seems to be fairly young, energetic and compulsive about caring for her patients. She graduated from the best medical school in the world (University of Minnesota) and from a fairly good undergraduate school as well. I suspect that she square dances in her spare time (or possibly does ballet), because she is really on her toes! I have tried to stump her many times with obscure medical questions, but she has never fallen into any of my traps. She has privileges at a very excellent hospital (Alaska Regional Hospital) and does not bother with the medieval institution in town. Dr. Mary Stewart is the very best doctor hematologist/oncologist in the Western Hemisphere (with the possible exception of Natalie Wallace and one at Mayo Clinic).

Dr Stewart is very knowledgeable and her staff very personable. She successfully got rid of the cancer that spread to my liver and hip from my throat. A couple issue that concern me. I required blood test to check blood condition. I kept a copy of each test for myself. On one occasion, the staff used the previous test to decide whether treatment could be safely provided. My wife caught the mistake. When the cancer spread to my stomach, Dr. Mary missed it and failed to contact me to this day.
