Dr. Mary Terra, DO

My appointment with Dr. Mary (Aly) Terra was the worst doctor's appointment I have ever had. She didn't believe that I was not sexually active, seemed very bothered when I told her that I was considering natural family planning as a form of birth control in the future if I became sexually active, and generally seemed to not really care about my concerns. I also needed to have a routine pap smear done during my appointment, and Dr. Terra made me feel very violated. She did not listen when I told her that it hurt a lot, and told me in response "Well, it probably doesn't hurt that much. It'll be over soon so just wait it out." This is absolutely unacceptable, and I still get anxiety years later whenever I need a pelvic exam. (Even from different doctors who do actually listen to me). Dr. Terra's disregard for her patients' needs, feelings, and beliefs is clearly evident. Find a different doctor, please, for your own well-being.

She like most D.O.'s thinks only they are correct, she developed a bias towards patients she does not like, her inability to follow up with bad laboratory reports does not exist. You might fair better seeing a veterinarian.
