This doctor is incredibly incompetent. She’s dismissive. She lies. When confronted about issues, she’s now out for a “family emergency” or gone for several weeks and constantly has to reschedule. She is shady. Can’t own her mistakes. Awful.

I have been seeing Dr. Modi for the past 3 years. I travel well over an hour outside of my city to see her. She listens attentively, is thorough and discusses with me any issues I may have.

Since I saw Dr Modi because another doctor was not available until April, I felt she was very thorough and listened attentively to my questions. She confirmed that I do have a problem and need added investigation and that my symptoms are real. It was a bit awkward to tell her that I am waiting for another physician but she assured me that this does happen. She ordered appropriate tests that will help with diagnosis in April.

Dr modi, First of all she is very unprofessional, highly recommend you stay away from this doctor. She wastes your time and says she will treat you then turnaround and have upper management call to tell me she will not. She has no manners, no courage and does not know what she is doing! Not worth the time spent! UCLA has gone downhill with their treatments and their hiring of doctors! Def stay away from this Rheumotoligst she has no clue how to manage patients with chronic illnesses!

Dr. Modi is a wonderful doctor. She is both caring and thorough. She takes the time to listen to my concerns, which is very important to me. She follows up with each test result and any email that i've sent. If you are looking for a rheumatologist she is an excellent choice.

I've only seen Dr. Modi once, and am scheduled for a follow-up visit which I plan to keep, as Modi has an excellent bedside manner. She seems to truly care about me and listened to me. She asked thoughtful questions that helped down potential medical conditions that I might have. She then scheduled appropriate tests to help determine what I might have. Modi is one of the best doctors I've seen in awhile. I highly recommend seeing Modi.

Dr. Modi has changed my life for the best. I've been under the care of multiple Rheumatologist for year's and I have never felt this GOOD and it's all thanks to her. I've been suffering with Fibro for 10 years and UCTD for 2 1/2 and now with RA for the past couple of months. I had been missing work once to two times a week, feeling terribly ill and barely able to function, now I'm back to work with no issues and I've able to enjoy life with a smile. She's my angel.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Modi?
Dr. Modi is very unprofessional, disrespectful of her patients' time and does not have much knowledge about Fibromyalgia, a condition that rheumatologists should be closely working with. Trying to make an appointment with her and to get her to reply to some basic questions has been a mission impossible. After 3 weeks of constant calling and emailing on my behalf, I could not get her assistant to reply to any of my inquiries, so I had to find another specialist who is better at communicating.
