Dr. Matthew Ben, MD

Dr. Ben is a brilliant man, very knowledgeable, he’s extremely personable, and thorough in his information gathering. He makes you feel comfortable and confident in his ability to help you feel better. Dr Ben has a wonderful sense of humor that puts his patience at ease, as well. I will certainly miss having him as my gastroenterologist. I made the mistake of showing up for my appointment a day late one time and he was so accommodating. This very busy man asked me if I would wait a half hour he would see me then. You just don’t find many doctors like Dr Matthew Ben.

Cuts to the chase, and tells you what you exactly need to do to help yourself along with his help for you I consider him the best in the area to go to. He gets right to the point and doesn’t add a lot of fluff.

Down to earth, easy to talk to, knows what he is doing and how to help you. I would send anyone in my family and close friends to Dr. Ben. He is really awesome.

Diagnosed with Liver Disease in Dec 2017. I was not at all happy with the lack of care and direction I was receiving by the Specialist I had been referred to. I was very concerned and very scared. A friend told me to please contact Albany Gastro so I did. I am currently seeing Dr Matthew Ben who is absolutely amazing! His knowledge and quality of care is phenomenal! He has given us direction, comfort, and finally some hope that I may be able to fight this awful disease. I am forever grateful!
