It’s been a day since my catheter ablation and I was thinking how lucky I am for such a great team. I felt a closeness to my anesthesiologist. I think the reassurance that he was going to be there the whole way through really helped me. Everytime I woke up, he explained to me what to was going on. I’m home, relaxing and grateful for the care.

Great Listener, Very Helpful
I had my first meeting with Dr. Birnbaum recently on a telehealth visit. I am preparing for orthopedic surgery and I have several chronic illnesses for which pain medicine is required. My doctor referred me since I already have daily opioid pain medicine in low doses. He was extremely cordial and sincere. His main goal is simply to make sure that I get adequate pain management after surgery. He was very respectful and reasonable and I hung up knowing that the call might not have gone so well with another doctor. We talked about a number of interesting things. I think he's outstanding/
