Dr. Burry is an A+
This is my first visit with Dr. Burry. I am not a person who gives reviews but he and his office staff really impressed me. Tekeya was so warm and friendly and listened to all my problems. I was really hurting when I left but he made me fill like a different person. After all the pain management visits, I now know what my diagnosis is and the problem will be resolved. Dr. Burry really listened and I can't thank him enough! I highly recommend him!!!!

Don't go to Dr Burry !
I went to Dr Burry for Severe foraminal narrowing of the C spine ( confirmed by another doctor ) upon entering the interior part of the office he was flailing his arms and talking loudly about a patient in front of staff and me . He comes into the room sits down and proceeds to tell me there is nothing wrong with my neck ! He didn't go over my Images with me or explain anything. He needs a attitude adjustment 100% , he was condescending and rude , I would never recommend him to anyone !

One Year Anniversary
Dr Burry preformed an ALIF with PLIF Surgery on my L-5 / S-1 1 year ago today. Dr Burry was the only Surgeon of the 3 I consulted for my issue to actually take the time to undersnd me as a patient. He asked me questions about symptoms that I had and I had no idea were related, ie: ED, hip leg foot numbness even bowel issues. Dr Burry made an initial recommendation for ALIF Surgery.. He also asked me ihe could discuss my case with a peer group he's involved with. Afterwards Dr Burry discussed a couple options that were reccomended due to the severity of my Dynamic Spondylolisthesis. One was ALIF only, and one was the combo ALIF and PLIF. We chose the Combo, and I can't express my complete and utter sarisfaction with my results. I was in and out of the Hospital in 2-1/2 days. I walked 2 miles my 1st week and kept on going from there. I even painted my house 3 months post op. The other symptoms all improved substantially. The tem of Dr Burry, Dr Edelstein and HCA Sanford were amazing.

I saw Dr. Burry because of a herniated disc and severe pain. I wanted to get another opinion from him because I was recommended surgery from another Dr. even though i submitted images with a report and the hospital as well as other doctors confirming a herniated disc. Dr Burry said he didnt see anything wrong with my spine and didn't believe the episodes of my back causing me severe pain and unable to move or walk. Its very frustrating when a Doctor does not believe you.

I visited Dr. Burry for a neck issue that has caused numbness and tingling down my arm. Dr. Burry took his time to carefully review my MRI and walked me through the images as well as a spinal cord model to make sure I understood where my issues were and what was causing them. Dr. Burry seemed to truly care about my well being, was friendly and attentive as was his staff and I highly recommend him!

Abrasive Dr.
I would say there is a reoccurring theme about Dr. Burry and his abrasive attitude. He was 25 minutes late in the room, his tone was condescending, and did not have a computer in the room to review the MRI. I asked to discuss the MRI findings with him, so we went to the work station where his staff sits to look at the films in the middle of the practice. The radiologist report indicated severe compression to which Dr. Burry disagreed with. His attitude was so poor, that his staff "mouthed" apologies to me. From the on-set of my first appointment, they said their focus was to improve the patient experience and reviews. EPIC FAIL!

It's been 1 month since my L4-5 laminectomy by Dr Matthew Burry. The shooting pains down my legs has been eliminated and I have my mobility back. The staff at Neurohealth Sciences Center did a great job of diagnosing my issue and recommending the correct treatment, which was performed a few short weeks after the initial appointment.

Had carpal tunnel surgery on 8/27/21. Dr Burry was very helpful in explaining the procedure and went very well. Little pain after. I didn't need to use the pain medication after. 3 weeks later they took out the stitches and I already have had relief from the numbness and tingling. I am looking forward to getting the other hand done soon. Chris and Maggie were also very attentive in my interactions with them.

There are not enough stars for Dr. Burry and his staff:Chris Brim, Meggie Wright, Megan Ross, Alkini Ranking and all the office staff. The first appointment all questions were answered for me and my family, surgery described and recovery process explained. It was all completed in a timely, professional manner. It has been two weeks since surgery, I am walking with out pain, with out a walker which I have not been able to do for over 2 years. Some doctor offices just make you feel better taking with them because you can tell they care and want to help you - they give you hope - Dr. Burry and his staff are definitely one of these offices!!! Thank you.

Was not impressed. I have a serious problem with osteoporosis and fractured vertebrae. I want treatment, not narcotics. I waited an hour after filling out 13 pages of various information with regard to my medical history, including 31 questions and statements regarding the narcotics that are prescribed here. Each one needed an initial. There was a total of only 1/2 page dedicated to what kind of problem I was experiencing. It is obvious that this is NOT where one would go for a CURE for something. Covering up pain that is REAL is bad enough, but it occurred to me that possibly some patients were there simply for the drugs. I have a call into my insurance company with regard to my "visit". I never saw a DR. I left after waiting an hour, and coming to the conclusion that people who are dependent on drugs probably wouldn't CARE if they had to wait an hour or two for their "prescriptions." I, however, am not one of them. I hope to find a Dr. who has a real solution t my problem.

Everyone was wonderful! Megan, Dr. B's assistant was very knowledgeable and very helpful. Dr. B LISTENED TO ME!!! As a woman, it's not easy to get a Dr. to listen to anything I ha e to say. He addressed all of my concerns. Made me feel at ease. Worked up a plan for me right the. Dr. B is VERY down to earth and has a wonderful sense of humor. I'd recommend Dr. B and his entire office to anyone who needs a neurologist. My husband was in the room w the Dr. and me the Dr. addressed his concerns about me. No need for improvement here as they're ALL already amazing. I can't thank them enough!

Very unpleasant and unprofessional something you wouldn't expect from a medical professional treating serious illness and problems. He never showed up for my first appointment and was 2 hours late after rescheduling the second time. He left me in tears with his insensitive comments never wish to see his worthless face ever again.

In August 2019, Dr. Burry successfully performed a complicated fusion of my disc at L2-L3, which required the partial removal of preexisting hardware from a prior fusion of L3-L5. I was able to return to the gym by mid-October 2019 and was surfing again in February 2020. I found Dr. Burry and his office to be very responsive and accessible. I definitely recommend Dr. Burry
