Dr. Connell and his staff at SGF were great!! My wife and I had a wonderful experience. He was very thorough and detailed and really made sure we were aware of all of our options from the beginning. His bedside manner was great and we can't wait to have Dr. Connell and his staff help continue to build our family!

Prior to coming to SGF, my wife and I tried an at home insemination which was unsuccessful so we did not want to go that route again and decided to go through a fertility clinic for better results. And let me tell you we were not disappointed! Dr. Connell’s patience is everything. From our first appointment he laid out all of the details of our options and how he thought we should proceed. Although the first IUI was unsuccessful he listened to my wife when she stated she wanted to go the medicated route for the second IUI. Through it all there was guidance and patience. And guess what?!? We finally graduated after two post appointments after finding out we were expecting! If we had to do it over again we would definitely not hesitate to use Dr. Connell again! Thank you, again, Dr. Connell.

Dr. Connell is the absolute best. I always felt supported and cared for. Dr. Connell takes his time to listen and explain everything in great detail. If you are ever uneasy you can always call and he makes himself available. If I were to do this process again, I would definitely choose Dr. Connell, without a doubt.

Dr. Connell was amazing. I came to him in tears my first appointment worried that he would tell me to try naturally again after my weight loss like my PCP. He reassured me that the 7 years we had tried showed enough patience and that he would support me with my journey. He took the time to explain all of my options along with what he thinks would work best for me. He called me personally to tell me about my egg retrieval results and how many embryos we got. He was the first fertility specialist in our 7 years that made me feel completely important and like someone truly cared. Thank you Dr. Connell!

My husband and I had an excellent experience with Shady Grove Fertility and Dr. Connell. Dr. Connell was extremely helpful right from the start. I remember in our initial visit he asked, "What can I do for you or how can I best help you?" It was something along those lines and I remember it just blew me away because he didn't jump into all the technical stuff but wanted to listen to us first! His team was always responsive to messages on the patient portal and we had great follow up. Going down the fertility journey sounds daunting at first but I will say that Dr. Connell and his team make it feel like a breeze. Thank you for what you do!

Dr Connell and his team (shoutout to nurse Lindsey) did an amazing job with helping us in our goal to get pregnant. My first pregnancy was an ectopic pregnancy which was very scary. Dr connell called me regularly outside of his own business hours to check in on me. I’ve never seen that level of service from a doctor! After several surgeries and 2 rounds of IUI, I’m pregnant! After many years of unknowns prior to starting my care with Dr Connell, I feel we landed in the right place. Infertility is so exhausting, depressing, lonely, and the only silver lining was finally meeting a medical team that was ready to support our goals.

After spending almost 1.5 years seeing another fertility doctor who wasn't listening to our concerns and did not seem to care about our financial situation, we took a shot at going to a Shady Grove clinic that was almost two hours away from our house. We were incredibly blessed to find Dr. Connell. He is kind, caring, doesn't rush you, explains things in great details, answers any questions you have, and listens to what you think your body needs and explains why that will or will not work. Let's just say after 8 monitored cycles, 2 IUI's and 4 cancelled cycles with our previous doctor, on our first IUI cycle with Dr. Connell we found out we were pregnant! I would highly recommend him and would drive many hours to be able to be under his care.

Dr. Connell has been fantastic during this process. He is kind, calm, and understanding and takes the time to work through each step of the process with us. He and the entire shady grove office approach every interaction with warmth and empathy.

Dr. Connell is a fantastic provider! He is extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and has bedside manner that is hard to find. The journey of infertility is overwhelming, but when you have a doctor you can trust and feel comfortable with, it makes it so much better! Dr. Connell went above and beyond communicating with us. With covid restrictions limiting face to face office time, he was wonderful about personally calling on the phone. This made such a difference and provided me a lot of comfort! He always listened, answered all my questions, and never made me feel rushed. He called before procedures on weekends when he wasn’t working, and this showed how much he cares for and is invested in the success of his patients. If you are looking for a reproductive endocrinologist, I highly recommend Dr. Connell.

Dr. Connell is a phenomenal doctor who truly cares about his patients. He wants success for his patients and is incredibly knowledgeable. He is empathetic, kind, and will go the extra mile to answer any questions that you have and put your concerns at ease. I have never met another doctor like Dr. Connell, and will always compare all my other doctors to him moving forward. He is a true gem and blessing to the fertility world.

He is not only a great doctor but a great person. He really cares for my husband and I.

My time with Dr. Connell was short - I ended up getting pregnant spontaneously after our first consult with him (after TTC for 20 months).
