Dr. Matthew Epstein, DDS

Dr. Epstein did good work, but was a terrible communicator about next steps in the implant process. He would benefit from slowing down and talking with patients (even briefly!) about what is being done, and next steps.

I broke a molar in half on vacation. I was able to get in very quickly to have the tooth pulled and a post placed for a permanent replacement. The service was efficient and pain-free. All the staff was superb.

Far, far exceeded my expectations! If you need to be TAKEN CARE of, like ACTUALLY- this is the place! Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Each!!

Thank you Dr. Epstein and the Staff at Green Lake Oral & Facial Surgery. I was a bit apprehensive to remove all four of my wisdom teeth, but they made the process so smooth. First off this place is so clean and modern. Bathroom was nice and the receptionist staff made sure they wiped and straighten the waiting area often. Every time I called they answered my questions with ease very nice and professional. Surgery day I felt comfortable and safe. I appreciate Dr. Epstein’s work and I wasn’t in any pain after surgery just some tolerable uncomfortableness. His anesthesia personnel is great as well, he explained everything to me you can tell they are a duo team. Also I received a call later that day from the nurse to check on me which was nice too. I’m glad I choose to go with them. Thank you.

This is the best wisdom tooth removal experience I've had- and I have something to compare against because I got my left wisdom teeth removed at another practice some time ago. Everything was perfect- the staff is thoughtful and patient, and my procedure went smoothly. Dr. Epstein is careful and strategic about how to do procedures in a way that causes the least trauma to the mouth, and the least anxiety for the patient. This was true even for a simple extraction like mine. I also have WAY less pain 2 days post op than I did when I got my other two wisdom teeth out. 5 stars- great experience, I'd do it again but I'm all out of wisdom teeth :)

I am a senior adult who needed my wisdom teeth pulled. I did two of them three years ago and two just yesterday. Can't remember why I didn't do 4 at once but both times I was very impressed with this practice. The scheduling is easy, very friendly and knowledgeable staff, phone is answered right away. Pre-surgery visit answered all my questions and day of surgery went very smoothly. In and out in one hour. And a great result; I am writing this the morning after the surgery date and I am pain free. Maybe I am lucky but I think Dr. Epstein and his staff have a lot to do with this because of their skill. They even called late yesterday afternoon to check in on me. Highly Recommend !

The office manager is very rude. Unfriendly stuff.

I was needing some teeth extracted and Dr. Epstein was able to get me in right away. The whole procedure was quick and painless, unlike previous dental procedures I have experienced in the past. Dr. Epstein and staff were so kind and accommodating and really made me feel comfortable. I highly recommend coming here and will definitely be back for future implants!

The staff was very communicative and warm. No question felt silly—they answered everything! Dr. Epstein was very decisive on his recommendation, not willing to make a recommendation that might not work. Exactly, what I was looking for. The explanation they provided on why I should have him extract my tooth versus my dentist was extremely helpful. The extraction went well and the healing period very good because he took the extra effort to pack and stitch the extraction area. I would definitely recommend him and seek his services again.

What was a challenging amount of work to me was made painless and exceptionally done by Dr. Epstein and his team. I am impressed and pleased.

Great job with my wisdom teeth removal. Everyone at practice was very nice and knowledgeable. I was happy that they seemed concerned about how my experience had been with the antibiotics and pain meds, and we talked about how to dispose of the pain meds to keep them out of the waterways where they end up in marine foodwebs.

Green Lake Oral and Facial Surgery is a great place. Dr. Epstein and his staff are wonderful. Everyone on the team is very knowledgeable, professional, caring, friendly, and thorough. As soon as you arrive, the front desk is always very helpful and make you feel very welcome. Moreover, Dr. Epstein is terrific and provides excellent results. I felt well taken care of at this practice and I highly recommend them.

Having struggled with severe dental phobia all my life, Dr. Epstein’s thorough explanations and warm, compassionate approach made it possible for me to have the dental surgery I required. The results have been life changing for me - both in my smile and in my attitude. And, its been great to bite fearlessly into a Honey-crisp apple again! Very friendly staff. High tech equipment allowing for precise implant placement. Thorough consultation with excellent explanation of the process and steps going forward. Appreciated the option of sedation for implant placement. Easy follow-up afterwards. Precise cost estimate.

Dr. Epstein and the team run a tight ship. I had all my wisdom teeth out and I was impressed with many aspects of my experience. Dr Epstein is nice and approachable and the whole staff is very friendly. They have the latest technology and clearly really know what they’re doing. I was pretty afraid to get my wisdom teeth out but I was pleasantly surprised with how smooth the whole process went. And during recovery they were there for me when I had questions.
