Dr. Esson is awesome! He basically became my primary care doctor because he reviewed how ALL of my medications were interacting with each other and causing unwanted side effects to my kidneys. He really cares about helping me make better lifestyle choices to improve my health too. I don't feel judged at all.

I’m sure Dr Esson has a ‘Superman’ shirt beneath his collared shirt! I have had kidney disease since 7 yrs old. I have seen 5 Nephrologists. Dr. Esson is the best! He treats me like he is treating a member of his family!I haven't need Dr Esson for 10 yrs,I started dumping a large amount of protein/retaining fluid.I found a 10 yr old business card from Dr Esson.I emailed him with my concerns and test results,20 minutes later on a Fridayevening he set an appointment.

Had a kidney transplant in 1988 and moved to Denver in 2001. Dr. Esson has been my nephrologist since then and I wouldn't see another. Outstanding care and a great person as well as his staff.

Dr. Esson "knows his stuff." He is knowledgeable, caring, and as compassionate as a doc who deals with ESRD every day can be. He takes time to get to know me, listens to my concerns, and explains my treatment in a way I can understand. He will personally call with test results when he feels a one-on-one conversation is best. He is also very good at communicating with my other doctors. Highly recommend.

I met Dr. Esson while a patient at North Suburban Medical Center. He is friendly and very knowledgeable concerning kidney disease. He is always free to listen to his patients first and then discuss whatever is left that the patient didn't mention.

Dr. Esson is fantastic. Referred to me by a friend who is also a doctor, I needed to get some questions answered on certain test results. Dr. Esson is friendly and upbeat. I appreciate his time he takes to patiently explain lab results and current status of my kidney function. I plan on having Dr. Esson as my nephrologist as long as he is practicing.
