Dr. Matthew Foster, MD

Dr Foster did a fantastic job pulling a molar that had sheared off at the gum line for me. He made sure it was as pain free and quick as possible. He explained all options available for replacing my lost tooth, i.e. implant, bridge. Highly recommend.

I had to see Dr. Foster due to my dentist unable to perform a crown on a fractured tooth, so it was an emergency due to my dentist already starting to remove pieces of my tooth. I went to Kansas City Oral Surgery and Implants Center. The front desk staff were not friendly and told me to sit down that they would work me in. They never checked in with me again. I waited almost 3 hours to be seen. I didn't mind the wait as I understand they were "squeezing" me in, however the lack of empathy was incredible from the front desk staff. When Dr. Foster came in, he was not empathetic in his demeanor and was rushed. He did not use any topical numbing and jammed the needle into my gum and the roof of my mouth. When the insurance person came into talk to me regarding treatment plans, she contradicted Dr. Foster when I asked some questions. She seemed displeased with what I was willing to do at that time. I gave the practice 3 stars because they did fit me in to the schedule, however lacks empathy

Dr. Foster made time for an appointment for me even though he had a very busy schedule on a Monday. I appreciate his sensitivity and swiftness of his actions. He was very personable and explained the procedure very well.
