Dr. Grosso is personable and easy to talk with. He listens. He is sincere and thorough with his answers and explanations. A totally positive experience from start to finish.

I am three weeks out from a right total hip replacement by Dr. Grosso. I found him to be a pleasant, informative physician, whom I chose initially because of his excellent recommendations on health grade. I was not disappointed. His office was efficient and caring, as was he. The surgery at Saint Francis Hospital went smoothly, and the care was excellent. Three days after surgery, I walked one quarter mile, and three weeks out, I am walking 3 miles a day with no assistance. Would highly recommend him, and should I need the other hip replaced or either knee, he would be my first choice.

Dr. Grosso is a wonderful orthopedic surgeon. He did my left total knee replacement and will be doing my total right knee replacement. So glad I found him. Would not have any other surgeon do my total knee replacement,

I was very impressed with Dr Grosso and his team on my very first visit. As a retired RN I was initially hesitant because of his young age. It didn’t take me long to become totally confident I had made the right decision. He was thorough, attentive, and confident that he could mend my complex knee. I was sure that he would. The surgery and post op recovery went very well. St Francis is also 100 percent the right choice for this surgery! The pre-op staff prepared me very well for my hip replacement. The emails were very informative and they answered all questions. The staff from the moment I booked my surgery to when I was discharged was exceptional. This includes: the scheduler, receptionist, pre-post op nurses, OR nurses, PT, anesthesia and of course Dr Grosso. The Force app was very helpful. My recovery was better and shorter than expected.

Dr. Grosso was professional relatable, knowledgeable, and patient. He listened to my concerns gave me his professional opinion and discussed options surgery better than expected was walking without assistance within two weeks of my total knee replacement.

Dr. Grosso ordered Force Therapeutics to support me through the surgery and afterwards.

Saw him before his practice and associates stole the Springfield office from Doctor Ruark. He is very young and did not instill confidence. I waited quite awhile to see him and the appointment was rushed. Go elsewhere.

I had 2 knee replacement surgeries in a 4 month period. They went very well. He is a great doctor. He explains everything very well and answers all questions and concerns. My hip replacement went very smoothly, recovery was quick and just as I expected. This was due to Dr Grosso’s professionalism, clear communication skills and skill as a surgeon. He was very easy to work with, very responsive and caring, as was his entire staff. If and when my other hip needs attention I won’t hesitate to see Dr Grosso again.

My conclusion is that Dr. Grosso is an exceptionally capable surgeon whose quality of work, coupled with a meticulously precise procedure, allowed me to have a successful operation (right knee replacement) and outcome. I healed and progressed faster than what would be expected for my age.

My hip surgery (my second) went smoothly. No more pain. I would recommend Dr. Grosso. However, my left leg has not recovered to my liking. It wants to buckle and I do not trust walking - certainly without a walker. I still feel as though there is a tourniquet on the leg and it is heavy and cumbersome.
