Dr. Matthew Hanasono, MD

Dr Hanasono is the BEST PLASTIC RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGEON IN THE WORLD! I do TONS of research and no one come close to him. I had high grade spindle cell Sarcoma in my maxillary sinus, orbital floor, jaw, check bones, upper pallet of mouth etc.He performed a 23 hr surgery reconstructing my face. After about 14 hours he looked at me and said “Meredith will NOT be happy with the results”. I always told him I’m going to be the patient you use when you teach others around the world. I want my face the same as it was before!!! He remembered ALL THE TIMES I would tell him so he STARTED ALL OVER with a double flap reconstruction using my fibula bone, 2 veins and skin grafts for my upper pallet It took about a year to heal. When I visit plastic surgeons for other things I want done they are AMAZED and dumb founded with the results. They say they studied it in medical school & HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH AMAZING RESULT. Now no one even realizes I had surgery on my face. He is the BEST IN THE WORLD!!!

Back in 2006 I had a bone tumor in my face cut out. That same day, Dr. Hanasono and his team rebuilt the hole in my face in the same surgery. He did amazing work. I don't know what my life would be like if not for his skilled plastic surgery. And he was awesome during all of the pre and post surgical appointments. Any fears I had, he was able to calm by explaining things that could go wrong, and then all the ways he had to fix them in the event they happened.
