Dr. Matthew Huk, MD

I guess for every 100 surgeries, there must be one that comes with error. Just so happen that I was the one. I am a 33 year old male and I had a Sigmoid Reduction procedure performed at Morristown hospital with the operating doctor being Dr. Matthew Huk. The procedure was performed in October of 2020. A couple of months after my surgery I realized something was terribly wrong. I could no longer discharge seamen. I called Dr. Huk and alerted him to this news and he assured me that in time the function would return. I was in contact with his office for over a year as they gaslit me into believing this function would return, it did not. It has been three years now, multiple urologists and fertility specialist later when I finally found out that I no longer can reproduce naturally. I will never discharge again for as long as I live. A sigmoid reduction surgery has now cost me the chance of reproducing children naturally, the way humans were intended to. It will now cost me tens of thousand

Dr. Huk is amazing. I had a colon resection done robotically and was up & walking that night, eating solid food the next day and went home the day after surgery. He took lots of time with me, explained everything thoroughly, & was very caring. I would most definitely recommend him to family & friends. Great surgeon!

Dr Huk is the best I had to have hemorrhoids surgery and this is the first time I've ever had any kind of surgery in my life and he put me totally at ease I love the fact that he gave me a diagram of whathe dose. Gave me a reply for any questions I had afterwards and my surgery was a great success within three weeks after the surgery I was feeling great I highly highly recommend him

He is a wonderful doctor and explained everything very well. The colon surgery had good results. He is very professional. You could just tell that he cares about what he does and loves what he does. I definitely recommend him.

Dr. Huk takes the time to thoroughly explain your procedure, including illustrating on a board, without being dramatic or gory. Even offering scenarios he could take, if any surprises arise in surgery. He will put you at ease with his fun bedside manner. He’s straight forward, in a kind, confident manner. Communication is great; he won’t leave you wondering, doubting or confused. Also kept other doctors on my team in the know. He’s very knowledgeable and talented, he’s a great choice!

I had emergency surgery for a ruptured appendix November 16th and was on a plane to Costa Rica on December 16th. This was possible due to the skilled expertise of Dr Matthew Huk! Not only is Dr Huk a wonderful competent surgeon, he is kind, compassionate, and caring. He was extremely attentive to my care; I knew that my health was his top priority. I would absolutely recommend Dr Matthew Huk!

Dr. Huk is amazing. He was very thourough, attentive and compassionate. Once the procedure was done he came out to speak to me, explain what he did and the results. I arrived at 6:45 registered was brought back for my procedure at about 7:15 did the whole questions and get ready. Procedure started at about 8:00 a.m. I was out at about 8:30. And released to go home at 9:00. Now to inhale food. Hoping this review will ease your mind and help you make your decision on this physician.

Dr Huk was exceptional to me as a patient. He was called in on a Sunday morning to do an appendectomy and was very professional and had great bed side manners also made me feel comfortable when I was scared to go to the operating room.
