Successful surgery & rehab, PT
Follow-up after reverse total shoulder replacement 1 March. I have recovered well enough with following the surgeon’s instructions, both formal PT & home exercises, that I have graduated to no further visits needed! I will continue with a few more weekly PT sessions, home or gym PT 3x week, & recommended daily stretches to improve on my range of motion & muscle strength. If I have concerns or questions I know I can be in touch. If I needed further surgery on my shoulder I know who to call.

Excellent surgeon
Dr. Jenkins performed a shoulder replacement surgery. He did a superb job. Equally important, he was easy to communicate with, and was exceptionally gracious and empathetic with my wife. I would recommend him to anyone without hesitation.

Caring and Thoughtful
From the moment I met Dr Jenkins it was apparent that he knew what he was doing. He asked me more questions than most doctors ever have. This helped him dial in and diagnose the issues with my shoulder. He takes his time and it's very thorough. I trust this guy completely.

I had a total shoulder replacement by Dr. Jenkins and am very happy. Dr Jenkins came highly recommended by the UofW. He was on top of all the new developments in the surgery and also all the medical concerns surrounding the surgery. He answered all my questions and was sincere and never condescending, as some Dr’s can be.

I was on the hunt for a female orthopedist because I feel that female doctors are more caring. Not so the case with Dr. Jenkins. It was a minor problem for an orthopedist but such a pain for me. He listened, gave me all my options, discussed any issues with treatment, and all while showing that my issue was important. Once this issue is resolved, I hope to never need an orthopedist again, but if I do I would go back to Dr. Jenkins and his very nice staff.

Great medical outcome
I had a torn rotator cuff in my right shoulder. Dr Jenkins confirmed the diagnosis with an MRI and planned the surgery. After the surgery he followed up with me every six weeks for a great outcome. I have fully functional shoulder with no pain. Thank you, Dr Jenkins.
