Went in for my forst colonoscopy which really is a simple routine procedure. Dr. Kaspar came in before surgery and introduced himself and informed of the plan and risks and asked if I had questions and if I still wanted to move forward which I replied yes. I saw him after surgery in recovery and he explained what they found and next steps. He did what was expected for a routine examine. I don't see why someone could rate him anything but perfect. It's a routine colonoscopy and there needn't be any relationship building like some reviews wished for. The nurses do all the prep and explaining which is normal in healthcare. I would totally recommend Dr. Kaspar as the colonoscopy went well with so side effects.

There are better...
I had my first colonoscopy with Dr. Kaspar. He was incredibly rude. For a first one, I expected some explanations and reassurance. Luckily for me the nurse 'warned me' that he was abrasive so I sort of knew it was coming. He basically walked in said, this is safe, I could cut your stomach or colon accidently but it is unlikely - any questions. Then he was gone. Less than a full minute. When the procedure was over. He stopped at my bed and said. 'Normal colonoscopy, any questions?' then looked at my husband and said - 'questions?'. We both said no and he left. Less than 20 seconds. He has zero interest in being kind.

Dr. Kaspar was horrible. No bedside manner. Tests scans went on for months. Liver and kidney failure finding after months. Please see someone else if you need help.

Never again
Horrible bedside manner. My first colonoscopy was performed by him. He was so unfriendly that my husband and I just stared in disbelief after he left the room prior to the procedure. Very blunt and almost angry explaining what could go wrong. Made my anxiety about the procedure so much worse. Hindsight I should have left and had the procedure elsewhere.

Uncaring. I have Cirrhosis but not bad enough for a liver transplant. Referred me back to my primary. I need a better Dr. One who cares.

Bad experience
He didn’t explain enough the medication he was prescribing me and he didn’t make me feel confident about his understanding of my problem
