Dr. Matthew Keith, MD

I went to Dr. Keith because I was having shortness of breath and chest pains. He scheduled a CT scan and a stress test. he decided because I had a high heart rate he recommended I go to Dr. Tim Cherian who did an ablation. After the ablation I was very short of breath told Dr. Keith this and he said oh no problem just come back in a year. I didn’t care for that diagnosis and come back in a year so I made an appointment with another cardiologist in Louisville Dr Flaherty. Dr Flaherty did a CT scan with contrast and found an abnormal condition in my heart. He scheduled surgery. The surgery showed two blocked arteries at over 80%. I guess it’s a good thing. I didn’t listen to Dr. Keith and I would not recommend him for anybody.

Dr. Keith balances professionalism with being friendly and open with his patients. He answers questions in a manner lay people can understand and he listens to my concerns.

He is very kind and easygoing. He has an excellent bedside manner. Would recommend to anyone needing a cardiologist

As a result of my husband's sudden cardiac arrest and subsequent hospitalization at the beginning of the year, we needed to find a cardiologist because we're new to the area and didn't yet have one. We are so pleased that we were given Dr. Keith at Baptist Health Floyd. He took wonderful care of my husband and, as a result, my husband is now feeling wonderful. I, too, have recently become a patient of Dr. Keith, and I can't say enough good things about him. He is the best doctor we've ever had. He's compassionate, thorough, trustworthy, and easy to talk to. I high recommend this doctor.
