Awful Support Staff
Dr. Labella himself was great. Very helpful and informative. But his support staff is awful. Called to see if I could negotiate my bill, since I'm in between insurance carriers for a month or so, and had planned to come back again when my insurance kicked in. (My request - to pay what my insurance would have paid this time, was, admittedly, a little unusual, and it's not surprising they said no). But Debbie, their billing manager, could not have been more rude when I asked her about this. She was instantly irritated when she got on the phone and implied that I didn't know what insurance is even for. If you end up on the phone with her, expect to be condescended to! Or you could just avoid going here entirely.

Absolutely a terrific experience. I had to have a bunion removed and my big toe fused due to arthritis. The entire experience was great. Dr. Labella did a complete examination of the foot and gave me a full explanation of the options available. He explained the risks and benefits of each option. He did the surgury and all went perfectly well. The follow up visits were handled with a great deal of care and full explanations of how the healing was working and what to expect along the way. I was never left to wonder about what was going on. With every visit I was asked whether or not I had any questions, any issues or if there was anything he or his staff could be of assistance with. I would recommend him to anyone experiencing any foot issues.

My recent visit to West Seattle Foot & Ankle Clinic was a very pleasant experience, Dr. LaBella was extremely personable and comforting to interact with, but most of all, he was very attentive in listening to my questions as well as articulate in explaining things before, during and after treatment that gave me confidence in the results.

Dr. Labella treated my dislocated ankle. He casted it himself within only 1 day of the original injury. I found out later this is not correct, until swelling goes down the ankle should only be half casted. Because he fully casted it, I had tremendous pain due to severe swelling and ended up with a stage 1 pressure wound, which doctor Labella said was "no big deal" and sprayed with hydrogen peroxide! He didn't recognize a pressure wound. A nurse friend of mine helped me and I went to another doc

I have been going to Dr LaBella for at least 15 years and have recommended him for friends and co-workers. From appointments to surgery he is the best doctor I have ever had. I can ask anything and he will explain the whole thing until I am comfortable- this is very important when having surgery. The staff is also wonderful and friendly.

Dr. LaBella is hands down the best doctor I've ever had. He always made me feel at ease, and did a good job explaining all my options. He helped diagnose and treat a significant tendon tear in my ankle. After exploring less invasive options, I opted to have surgery (also performed by Dr. LaBella) and after the procedure, he made himself available 24/7 when I had concerns, even while he was out of town. He genuinely cares about his patients and his aftercare was exceptional.
