Dr. Matthew Levy, DO

I was a patient of Dr. Levy fOr 2 years. My last Lab wok had been in NOVEMBER. As I sat down he proceeds to look at his laptop and recites a set of numbers that were completely at odds with my own history. and that he says were taken in February. “But Doc, they aren’t mine. I was in Florida in February.” We went back and forth and I then gave up. He prescribed NEW medication based on his laptop! I took the lab sheet, went to LabCorp, had the bloodwork re-tested but did not get the new meds. Two days later, I reviewed the lab work and sure enough, they were completely consistent with my last test results. AND AT ODDS WITH DR. LEVY’S laptop! So whose results was Dr. Levy looking at? Aha! I texted and asked my son - a Junior - if he had blood work in February. Sure enough, my son used a different Doctor in the same practice! I dropped Dr. Levy like a hot potato, not because he made a mistake, but because he believed his laptop & not his patient! BE CAREFUL OF THIS GUY

Dr levy told his staff to tell me amdilodapine doesn’t have breathing problems as a side effect. I called a pharmacist and was told to stop using it because it can cause breathing problems. I fire him. I’m my opinion he was contacted by a Cardiologist at Penn Medicine I fired because she told me after trying 3 medications I was running out of medications to try. Being a Gulf War Veteran I have a lot of severe side effects from medicines due to service in the gulf War. Be careful who you trust.
