Horrible experience, no bedside manner...
I waited 6 months for this visit. He came into the room and addressed the computer while looking at paperwork. I explained my issues that have been severe for the last 6 months. He had already decided what was wrong with me without asking questions or examining me. I explained that I was up several times at night with coughing and draining down my throat and that I never got a full nights sleep. He advised me to do what I was already doing. When I pointed out that I was already doing those things, he said that there was nothing else to do and shrugged. He advised me to see a neurologist, which I already do every 3 months. He was completely uninterested in answering questions or suggesting how to treat my symptoms. He gave me a standing CT scan in case the symptoms, that I am having all of the time, happened again. I was not a human being to this man. Complete waste of time and money. DON'T GO TO THIS DOCTOR. He doesn't care about what happens to the people he has to see.

Please don't waste your time
My experience today with Dr. Lister was not acceptable. I arrived at 8:45 for a 9:00 am appt. I was taken in right away. Then I sat until 9:18 and was picking up my visit summary at 9:28 am. I was a new patient. I've had ear pain (plugged) and constant nosebleeds all on the right side. He looked in my nose and said it didn't need to be cauterized; told me to use ointment because the inside of my nose was "dry" and that my ear looked fine. Told me I could take a certain pain reliever for the pain. Well, if he had read my chart he could see that I can only have a certain pain reliever because of the heart medication I am on. His bedside manner appeared to be 1)I'm the doctor and know what I am doing 2) Doesn't listen to his patient at all 3) Complete disregard to being on time or at least apologizing "if" something came up, but didn't. 4) I was simply a number to him, however if my symptoms continue (which they have for over a year) I should call back. No Thanks.

Dr Lister has little concern with pain management... He wont let you advocate for yourself as to how you would like to handle pain management.
