Two and half years ago, my life changed forever due to a tragic event. I have a brutal autoimmune disease,spinal injury and multiple other chronic conditions. l've been suffering-not just physically, but emotionally too. My conditions had taken over my life. I was no longer functioning! From the moment Dr. McElroy walked in the room. Something felt different. Dr. McElroy took the time to listen not just about my symptoms but everything, I have been carrying. He didn't pass me off like every other doctor. Dr. McElroy asked questions and provided with information that was never provided to me. He gave me something that,I haven't had in a long time HOPE, that things can actually get better and that he's willing to stand beside me and help me figure this out! My family and I are incredibly thankful!! I'll never forget how I felt leaving my appointment that day, I left feeling encouraged, and for the first time in a long time, not alone!

What’s that at first is how comfortable he makes you feel and how much you respect you as an individual.The thing that really stood out to me was how patient he was and how he answered everyone of my questions in a manner, which was very understandable! He never rushed and was very thorough. He made sure to give me all of my options and what he felt was the best best path to recovery.I highly recommend him… Five star all the way around in every category!!

Matt McElroy is first class all the way. On me, he's done a spinal cord stimulator, a facet joint radio-ablation, and I am under his care for chronic pain. He spends time, listens to you, and does an incredible job. Other docs I've been to (Southwoods, Wexford, etc) didn't even come close. Dr McElroy truly is first class. I've referred friends & family and they too have come back well pleased.Seriously, he's the best.

Just fantastic. He takes you through the whole process of what he will do to help you. Very informative and lets you know what will happen step by step.

Caring, compassionate, and extremely supportive

Dr. McElroy was very informative, caring and thorough. All questions were answered to the fullest. You could tell he is a Doctor who is very knowledgeable, experienced and eager to help. We are very lucky to have him in this area. After meeting with him, all fears were resolved. I am confident we will work together towards finding the best cure for my condition. Five Stars for sure !!!

Dr McElroy’s technician that did the first part of my tests was very professional. Then DrMcElroy did the rest of the test and was very kind and informative about what he was doing and preliminary things he noticed as he did his part of the testing.

I chose Youngstown Orthopedic because I had run out of options and wanted more information about the MILD procedure. Dr McElroy sat and we had a better conversation than I have had in the past. He was down to earth and explained the procedure and what to expect, no whitewashing, just the facts. I am looking forward to seeing how well the procedure works.

Dr. McElroy was just so pleasant, so kind. He was not in a rush to explain to us about Harold‘s back issues. He answered all of our questions and treated us with respect. The best thing is he made us feel comfortable and that he was not in a hurry. !
