Dr. Matthew Monaco, DDS

My first experience with Dr. Monaco went well. He did two extractions while I was under sedation in one session. It went off without a hitch, though I had pretty intense pain afterward. The second time, however, was a very different story. His office squeezed me in for an emergency extraction. This time, he was VERY rough when he did his cursory examination before the procedure! He was squeezing my very swollen lip and gums so he could see the tooth he needed to extract. I loudly expressed my discomfort. He ignored my cries of pain, though his assistant did try to comfort me. That night I noticed the bruise on my face. It got much worse the next day. He's a good surgeon, but he seemed sadistic in his approach on my second visit.

From the first time I came in for the consultation they put me at ease. I havent had good luck with dentist's in the past and wasn't looking forward to having wisdom teeth extraction. But they made the process easy and did evey step they could to make the process go smooth. The actual surgery went really well and they had to pull 3 teeth with minimal swelling.
