Dr. Matthew Payne, DO

I had to be brought to EIRMC ER by ambulance from Arco for covid pneumonia symptoms, the late night ER staff was vary rude and sent me home practically untreated and unmedicated. After languishing at home thinking I had no choice beyond the oxygen machine, I decided to try to reach out to Dr. Payne as he is my general care Dr. I was able to get into a telehealth appointment with Dr. Payne and he saved my life. He prescribed medication that has made all the difference, he took care of me, made me feel important and explained the options and was concerned about the manner of treatment at the ER. I'm proud and grateful to have Dr. Payne as my Dr. and I will be a longterm patient.

As always my visit with the doctor was very thorough and answered all my concerns. You need a great physician..Dr. Payne is the best.

Dr. Payne listens! He is friendly but not fake friendly. He is gentle in stressing that I am responsible for my health; he is a facilitator. When I've had questions, he researches it right then - in front of me. I only have to wait for answers if it's lab work or something more complicated. I highly recommend him for individuals and families.

Visit was good, employees were friendly and efficient. Doctor Payne was friendly and answered any questions I had.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Payne and his staff. It was easy to make an appointment, I have done both call and online ( which was really easy). The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and professional and so is Dr. Payne. Another important fact is that medical billing with our insurance carrier has been a breeze.

My wife and I have been patients of Dr Payne's for several years. We live in Arizona in the winter and Wyoming in the summer. This year has been different for all of us. Not safe to yet travel back to Wyoming so we tried the Doctor visit over the phone from Arizona. Hard to find a good general Doctor in Arizona that does not already have a full practice or that acts like they care a hoot about you. The Doctor visit with Dr Payne over the phone was surprisingly very effective and personal. He was not rushing and Jo Ann and I both had a one on one chance to review our existing drugs, conditions, etc.. with him. I think the more patients that try this will also like it and find it safer, faster and effective for many of our drug, aches and pains issues. Thank you Dr Payne. Wyoming, Gary and Jo Ann.

I don't want to tell you about Dr Payne because he's THAT GOOD that I just want to keep it all to myself. But because he asked me if I would leave a review, I would just feel too guilty not to do what he requests. His staff is THAT GOOD as well! My family has found that if you want friendly, honest, helpful, up-to-date, knowledgeable people working with you on your health needs, Dr Payne's is the place to be. He takes the time to explain it to you, and always asks if you have any questions or concerns. He isn't rushing off to the next, next, next patient. He actually cares and keeps up-to-date on new treatments and technologies. They work hard to keep you healthy. If I could (even though I don't want you to know) I'd give 100 stars.

My first visit was hesitant because I had been so satisfied with my previous GP. However, the second and third wellness visits and exams went very well. We got to know each other better and I found that if I asked questions , the explanations came readily. I am quite happy with Dr. Payne and as time goes on I look for us to communicate well.

Dr. Payne is always friendly and eager to answer questions. He never rushes visits and is genuinely interested in patients and their health concerns.

I have known Dr. Payne for years. He is a great provider and person in general. He is easy to relate to, and also has an incredible mind when it comes to medicine. He was easily able to explain things in a way that normal everyday people understand. That has been the case for me and my teenage children. I would recommend Dr. Payne to anyone.
