I’v had horrible back problems for months, no one knew what was the problem until I saw Dr Schaeffer. Within a single appointment he helped me figure out what the problem was and created a safe solution . I haven’t had pain since!

Dr. Schaeffer was very professional, listened to my concerns, and was thorough in his evaluation. He was kind, empathetic, and treated me with respect. He showed me a model of a spine and clearly explained the issue I was having. I am so grateful for his expertise! I highly recommend Dr. Schaeffer. In addition, his office staff was courteous and friendly.

Very late to the appointment and rushed the few minutes he had with me. I didn't talk. I felt he didn't listen to me.

It's very funny after reading the reviews it just confirmed it was NOT just me. This was my very first visit and he was in such a rush as if he was not interested for my visit. During the physical examination he would ask about pain, when I replied "yes" in some areas and then other areas a "little". His response was so everything is just a "little". He knew it was obvious to me he was rushing because the statement made PRIOR to his exit is "I'm sorry to be rushed, Mondays are always extremely busy." Needless to say, I will NOT return there! For those of you that had a positive experience, be thankful.

Worst experience with a doctor ever. He was 40 minutes late to start off with. Since my family Dr. had me on pain pills for a back injury, he said I was addicted to opiates and that was the reason I was in pain, which is not true. He said I had a tear and that he has a tear too and he is just fine. Well I am not just fine. He said the pain pills were making me be in pain. Then he said I'm done here, I can't help you.

Pleasant office staff, remarkable doctor and assistant. Understanding and ready to continue working to find the perfect solution.

Dr. Schaeffer is *beyond* well educated & trained. (See his bio!) *Therefore* - he *knows* his stuff!! He's very kind (tho may be tad irritable on occasion). But, he deals w/folks in mild-severe pain!! So in all, a patient & caring doc! He *stopped* my back spasms, (> 1 week of severe (9/10 pain), with injections! Ordered MRI - called me himself re: results! Have spine sxs OR pain?!: CALL Matt Schaeffer, MD. (Avoid Kennett office like plague. Receptdesk: Totally rude or Idiots!)

Dr. Schaeffer is an engaged listener and does not assume your problem or rush you along. I am more than happy with our treatment plan and next steps if it doesn’t give expected results. Downsides, this practice is just TOO big...30 people in waiting room, feels like an assembly line, and billing is inaccurate frequently. Wish he was out on his own or in a smaller group.

Personable and caring. He was helpful and provided me with good feedback. I gave 5 stars although i was seen 45 minutes late - that may not have been his fault

Very good and personable Physician. My only complaint is that I had a 0830 appointment and wasn't seen until 0930. Not sure how they could be so far behind that early, I could only imagine later in the day what the wait will be.

Looking for one word to describe my experience with Dr. Shaffer, can't, one word would not be enough. I have had many injections and treatments. Thru the years over 10, he has always been professional and explained each procedure in detail in layman's terms to understand the plus and minus and the risk involved. It is true when you fair well after treatment you don't have the time to give a GOOD review, only if it is not what you expected do you find time to give a BAD review. I would recommend
