Dr. Matthew Schuermann, MD

The only problem you may encounter with Dr. Schurmann ist getting test results, which usually means everything is normal. I've gotten used to using the websites so I can see the results for myself and call if I have questions.

He always listens to my concerns and explains if i don't understand. He is a very smart doctor and I have been his patient for about 12 years. I wouldn't go to anyone else. He is not like your regular get- em get- em out doctor. If that is what you are looking for go somewhere else. He is a kind caring person and wonderful doctor. I am truly blessed to have him looking out for me.

He is simply THE BEST. He is obviously a very caring, knowledgeable physician. He spent plenty of time with me and listened to all of my concerns. Dr. Schuermann was able to manage my medical problems where others have failed.

While he was very informative and engaging during the first visit, there was absolutely no FOLLOW UP with results. We called the office one week later, the receptionist/nurse said that the Dr. has not reviewed the tests yet. Another week goes by and we call and insist on hearing some results. No diagnosis still, prescribed 2 more RX's and promised a fax re: PT. Nothing came. 36 DAYS from the 1st. appt. they called with results, as if it were the first time we talked since the very first appt.

Have recommended friend's and family to Dr. SCHUERMANN and they left due to no follow up calls or follow up care was done on his part. For example medications not called into the pharmacy. Called for a week and med was still not called in. Requires no blood pressure or heart rate to be taken when office visits are med and on blood pressure medication. Christy his medical assistant is short and rude. Don't know if she or the doctor is the problem. I've referred multiple people, 3 left.
