Dr. Surgan in very thorough and takes his time to explain everything. He is extremely knowledgeable not only in his field but other areas of medicine. i have recommended him to at least 5 other people.

I was seen right on time. The staff was wonderful and Dr. Surgan was terrific in spending time with me and clearly explaining my condition. He gave me a feeling I was in good hands.

I have been diabetic for 47 years and have seen many Endocrinologists. Dr. Surgan has been one of the best. He really knows what he is doing. He is truly passionate about keeping me healthy and my diabetes on track. He takes plenty of time to explain everything and give direction as to what he thinks will work best for me. His care and concern for my well being is overwhelmingly appreciative.

Dr Surgan is excellent, very friendly and very serious about his work, and because he recently went the extra mile for me, he caught something potentially serious which needed further tests. I have been with Dr Surgan for 14 years and though I do not live near his practice any longer, I still go out of my way to see him and will continue to do so. 5 Stars and BEYOND!

Dr. Surgan discussed and addressed my concerns. Reviewed my and my family health history. I never felt rushed. The staff was delightful, especially Megan, the phlebotomist.

I felt that my initial appointment with Dr Surgan covered all the bases. He spend the time to find out all about me and I never felt rushed. Compared to my last Endocrinologist he is a 100% improvement. I look forward to my next appointment

Dr. Surgan is fabulous! He is very personable, incredibly thorough and very caring. He explains everything in detail and affords you the opportunity to raise any questions or concerns. Dr. Matthew Surgan of East Brunswick, NJ is a very skilled endocrinologist. He knows exactly what tests to order to determine what your health issues are. I was very pleased with my visit to his office and how thorough he was with all the necessary steps and tests required in order to identify my problem. He is very patience and answered all the questions I had even when I might have repeated the question twice. I was very pleased with the whole staff of Endocrinology Associates of NJ. From the minute I called to make an appointment, Rosa was helpful, friendly and kind. She walked me through the process of becoming a new patient and called me when an earlier appointment opened up. Dr. Surgan has the best bedside manners of any doctors I have ever met. He listened to my issues and advise me on my options to reach the goals for my issues . He did not make me feel rush like most doctors. He was very thorough with the whole examination. He answered all my questions in terminology that I can understand. Dr. Surgan and his staff treated me with respect and answered all my questions with understanding and patience. I give Dr. Surgan and his team 5 stars and would highly recommend them if anyone has any endocrinology health issues.

He's an obnoxious, arrogant jerk! I went to him because my endocrinologist left. He wouldn't even speak to me about my thyroid problem--which was the whole reason I was there! He was snide, condescending, and EXCEEDINGLY unprofessional! Laughed in my face when I disagreed with him! Challenged everything I said! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! Do NOT use this doctor unless you want to be upset! I also had to wait 4 months for an appointment because he brought all of his patients to the practice. Not fair!

Dr. Surgan is a good doctor, but it is very difficult to get through to him because the office needs to be more responsive in returning phone calls that are left on the answering machine during normal business hours.

Was going to be a new pt, they canceled my appointment 2 times. Very Bad first impression. I work at a Dr's office and they are in a referral list, I am aexobd guessing with giving patient's their number. Very unprofessional
