Dr. Weiner is an amazing surgeon and has been so wonderful through this whole journey. I’m only a week out of post-op. I was so nervous at the hospital; with the COVID rules, I couldn’t have anybody at the hospital besides my husband and he was only allowed to visit for a few hours. Dr. Weiner, Dr. Higa and the Bariatric nursing staff constantly checked on me. When I got home, I had pretty bad nausea and couldn’t keep my protein down. I called the office, spoke to the doctor and realized it was probably dehydration. The next day, Dr. Weiner personally called me to check up on me and see how I was hanging in there and if I was feeling better. I have felt so cared for and prepared through this entire process. I can’t thank Dr. Weiner and his team enough.

Doctor Weiner has the best bedside manner I’ve ever recieved from a doctor. I was 20 years old when I met him and 21 years old when he preformed my surgery. My health insurance required 6 months of monthly visits, weight loss programs, psychiatric visits, etc. Doctor Weiner talked with me every month specifically about the LIFESTYLE CHANGE that HAS to be made in order for the surgery to be SUCCESSFUL. Surgery is a TOOL, not a solution. He taught me how to use the tool and I have been successful!

Dr Weiner chose to not to follow through with the surgery after my spending hours and hundreds if not thousands of dollars on appointments prepping for the surgery.

Dr. Weiner is an excellent surgeon.. He knows exactly what his patients need to be comfortable and he provides it. He cares about his patients and their outcomes. He surgical skills are stellar. My recovery was quick and relatively painless. I highly recommend Dr. Weiner. As a nurse for 24 years, I know a great doctor when I meet him! Dr. Weiner is great. His life long diet plan Pound of Cure is easy to follow. It is truly a lifestyle change program instead of a diet.

Dr. Weiner said I couldn't do it after I started his program and had a date for surgery. Next visit he said I couldn't do it so he dropped me. He was making statements that the Dr. That takes care of it passed me for surgery. So I decided to see another. Best decision the Dr I went to was wonderful and supporting. The staff was great. And the hospital stay was perfect. Had a perfect experience. Right now I'm at home healing. You were so wrong about me Dr. Weiner and I proved it.

I had gastric bypass surgery performed by Dr. Weiner and it was the best decision of my life. My pre-op appointments were very informative, his staff handled everything for my insurance, the hospital was incredibly clean and the staff was amazing! Its been almost 7 months since my surgery and I have not had a SINGLE complication!!!
