I sought care with Dr. Weinstein for chronic pain. After reporting that my medication was ineffective despite consistent use, I completed pharmacogenomic testing at my own expense to provide objective evidence. Despite genetic confirmation and multiple urine tests showing my body does not properly process the medication, Dr. Weinstein dismissed my concerns and implied noncompliance. It was only after another provider reviewed my testing that my medication was appropriately changed, leading to real improvement. Dr. Weinstein also refused to complete necessary telework paperwork for my back pain, even though he was my treating provider. I did not feel heard, supported, or treated with individualized care. I cannot recommend Dr. Weinstein for patients seeking evidence-based treatment.

Excellent care
I’ve been to multiple pain management providers over the years. Dr. Weinstein is the first one that really took the time to listen to me and figure out exactly what was causing my pain and now has me on a very effective treatment plan. I would recommend him to anyone.
