Had a kidney transplant; 8/1/19
Love Dr. K. Incredible Nephrologist. He has a great sense of humor and a good bedside manner. Highly recommend him. Sadly I am not from or do not live in the San Antonio area, was born and raised in Kansas City, MO. Had to travel to San Antonio for a kidney transplant because my surgeon who was supposed to do my part of the transplant was let go. Love the whole San Antonio transplant team and the beautiful city!

Routine follow up visit after liver-kidney transplant in 1998. I have never found a nephrologist as caring and as competent as Dr. Kapturczak in all my years of dealing with kidney disease. If any doctor deserves five stars, it is Dr. Kapturczak.

Dr K is one of the best physicians I have ever known and been fortunate to have as my nephrologist. He has a great bedside manner, knows his trade very well, and truly cares about his patients. He goes to bat for me when other doctors didn’t and solved my medical issues when others wouldn’t or couldn’t. If you want a physician that will take the time to actually listen to you and heal you, have confidence that Dr K will do everything in his power to do do.

I have had several really good doctors, but Dr. K tops them all. His greatest asset, is that he not only has the ability to coordinate my very complicated, continuing health challenges, but that he also has the wisdom to guide me through them. He is knowledgable, attentive, and reassuring. I have complete confidence in him and his staff.

Dr. Kapturczak is knowledgeable, compassionate, trustworthy and personable. The moment he walks into the treatment room, he is smiling and approachable. He not only listens intently to my questions, paying special attention to what I am asking, he makes sure I understand his response to my questions. I always look forward to my semi-annual visits with him and his nurse, Krystal. She is thorough, friendly and promptly returns my calls. I have recommended him and Krystal since 2010.
