Dr. Matvey Yagudayev, DPM

Had an appointment with Dr. Matthew Yagudayev on 3/22. The 1-star rating stems from the complete lack of follow up and customer service from Ideal Podiatry and Dr. Matthew Yagudayev after my appointment. I was told to follow up on Thursday, 3/23 with my treatment choice. I was told I would be using a Topical Cream and Oral Pill. After following up to get the Topical Cream prescription, I had to speak to 4 different people over the course of 2 days to get Dr. Matthew Yagudayev to fill my prescription. Instead of filling the Topical Cream prescription, Dr. Matthew Yagudayev sent over a Topical Foam, which is not what I was told and was not covered under insurance. The Topical Cream is covered under insurance. I understand mistakes happen, but I have now called Thursday 3/23, two more times Friday 3/24, once on Saturday 3/25 and three more times on Monday, 3/27 to still not have the correct prescription sent over to the Pharmacy. A disappointing experience all around.

Dr. Yagudayev was supposed to operate on my bunion last February. After I was given Anesthesia and put to sleep, I woke up not knowing how long I have been out or if the surgery was complete. Dr. Yagudayev was across the room and loudly said to me that I had freaked out after being given Anesthesia and he decided not to operate. He made no attempt to address me face-to-face and he made no attempt to call me after the fact to see how I was or explain what happened. When my husband and I called him three days later, his only comment to us Was that he thought I should seek psychiatric care or see a pain doctor! I do not have any kind of chronic pain issue and I’m not sure what a psychiatrist would do for me In this case. I do not know if Dr. Yagudayev is a good doctor but I do know that he is lacking in compassion and professionalism.
