I feel fortunate to be a patient of Dr. Amezaga. She is through, compassionate, understanding and professional. She explains things well and gives me great care.

I have been through quite a few RA Drs as they have retired, left, moved. I was so fortunate to be swithed to Dr A (I call her Dr Amazing). She carefully assessed my situation and reassesses as things change (I had a bout with Cancer on top of my RA). I leave feeling confident she has found the best way forward. She walks into the room and has carefully reviewed your file making the appointment very productive. She is compassionate and inspirational.

She is very intelligent. And she explains everything precisely.

Dr. Amezaga is an incredible care provider. She's very detailed and includes me in her decision making. She helps process living with an auto immune disorder and explains things very well. The front was somewhat disorganized and there was no one on the rheumatology side. They had to call me over to the other corner to schedule my follow up appointment but those staff were very kind. It's very helpful to get my results via mychart and Dr. Amezaga is very responsive on there too.

The front desk CSR was so busy and she handled herself very well and professional. She had quite the line and stayed very calm.

As an Concierge Internal Medicine physician, I have referred several patients to Dr Amezaga, and they have all been very pleased with their office visits . I am taking the time to write this review, because I am very impressed with the thorough, academic approach the she takes with her patients. She is a great asset to our community!

Dr. Amezaga is an answer to prayer! She is clear with her directions and always wants to know my thoughts as well. If I send a message on the portal she replies very quickly. I feel blessed that I found her!

I wish I could give a 5 star but the extremely rude lady that makes the appointments won’t help me or my referring physician to even get an appointment. In fact my doctor from back home has called 6 times now and been put on hold for over a half hour and then disconnected. I’ve managed to get through one time in at least 15 attempts, waiting over an hour, only to be told at this time they haven’t had time to even review the 50 pages of faxed medical records from my rheumatologist in St Louis and then hung up on me. I called Lee Memorial to try to speak with a patient advocate and was told this hospital doesn’t participate in that program! I’ve consulted in over 50 hospitals in my pharmacy career from Yale on one coast to Cedars on another and never once have I heard of such a thing. It sure would have been nice to have to Not fly back and forth to see my doctor, but unfortunately her office staff decides who can and cannot be treated. This is very discriminating!

Dr. Amezaga is always so knowledgeable and explains my condition at the moment so clearly. I trust her and feel so comfortable and secure having her as my dr.. And Jessica was so nice and helpful in scheduling my next appointment
