She was awesome
She delivered our 2nd child and did a great job. She’s very professional and was very helpful. I was hoping to have our baby at home. I needed some extra help and she helped me deliver my big baby naturally with just a few pushes. Thank you!

Does not manage pain during procedures
Terrible bedside manners and I was refused pain meds or a cervical block or light sedation in outpatient. Pressured to do a biopsy I didn't even know about until that day. With no actual pain management during procedure.

Torture
I cannot explain how scary and bad my experience was. I went in for pelvic pain, and at my first visit they sprung an endometrial biopsy on me. They said they do it for any patients who have severe pain, but I was not told or prepared. I explained that I wanted pain mitigation such as lidocaine spray or an injection, because I had a very painful IUD insertion in the past, due to my tilted cervix. They refused me any pain mitigation except ibuprofen 5 minutes before the biopsy. I was not at all prepared for how painful it was. They take a straw thing and basically move it in and out of your cervix scraping the uterus. I screamed and said stop. I was shaking sweating and almost passing out. She kept trying to pressure me to let her take a second sample. I said no stop several times. She was trying to scare me about cancer instead of rescheduling this under light sedation with pain meds. Laying there, writhing in pain, she did a pelvic exam without making sure I was ok enough for it.

Dr. Flowers was the best decision for us!
The experience my wife and I had with Dr. Flowers was nothing short of amazing! She and her staff are knowledgeable care providers and absolutely stellar humans. My wide has complications that led to a surgery procedure - and we went into that procedure fully aware of what was about to take place and why. This is the kind of dream team of staff that once you find, you no longer have to search for another doctor.

Good doctors are so hard to find. But when you do, you feel like you've hit gold. Dr. Maureen is excellent. Welcoming, calm, and attentive bedside manner. Listens to your issues and then lays out a game plan. Wish I could have her as my primary physician!

We loved Dr. Flowers! She was very involved and caring about every problem that arose and was with us through every step of the way, including afterwards! When I was having some postpartum emotions, she made sure that I knew I wasn’t alone and that it didn’t mean I was a bad mom and continued to check on me about it instead of just telling me to let her know if it got worse. As a nurse, I was incredibly impressed at how all of our care was handled. I’d recommend her any day of the week!!
