I saw doctor Mays as a teenager struggling through weight issues and cardiovascular issues, and she made me feel so comfortable and validated. It's so hard to find a doctor that actually cares about you and your health. And even after not seeing her for 15 years, her visits still stick with me and all the motivation she offered still helps me!

While under her care, she advised me that you can't take too much Vitamin D and that I should have my uterine lining removed to stop my menopausal bleeding. In both cases she was wrong. I found her to be an emotionally immature woman who had a God complex. She put a lot of effort into acting like she was my best and coolest friend. She also expressed a dislike of people with borderline personality disorder to me on more than one occasion and of her hatred of cops.

I never once thought that I could trust anyone outside of my immediate family with my life. However, Dr.Mays has saved my life in more ways than I could count. Before seeing Dr.Mays I was a medical mess. I thought my young life was basically over. My previous (HMO) doctor just kept giving me the same medications despite my bloodwork results. I got injured at my workplace and the work injury doctor at kaiser gave me so much medication I believe it triggered my diabetes, my liver started doing things it wasn’t suppose to, and I started to visit the ER frequently for pain. No one knew what was going on with me. Eventually my family decided that was enough... So we decided to look for a different doctor and another opinion. Thankfully, by the grace of God, we found Dr.Mays. Within 3 months of first seeing her, and getting my bloodwork, she managed to tweak my medication to perfection. My diabetes in control, my heart happier, my liver and lungs performing as they should! She cares!

Dr. Mays is the best MD I have ever had in 80+ years. My visits have never been cut short by the clock. While I am there, one would think I was the only patient she had, answering my every concern. She is very knowledgeable and always comes up with a solution(s). She is a friendly "people" person and seems to relate to everyone. Her staff is friendly and efficient. I recommend her 100%. She or her staff, efficiently follows up on all outside lab work, tests, and with other doctors.

The most down-to-earth Dr. I have had the pleasure to meet! She is casual, yet knowledgeable and understanding! We have had trouble finding a family Dr. we could be happy with here in Oregon so when she breezed into the room our spirits soared!! We look forward to a happy and productive relationship with her for many years. 3 cheers for Dr. Mays!!!

Takes time with you. Love the office staff and Dr. Mays. Don't mind if I have to wait because she will take the same time with me and not cut me short.
