Dr. Krucoff has performed two brain surgeries for my husband now, and my husband always refers to him as “my super hero”. Dr. Krucoff is so patient with every question you have, he makes you feel comfortable, eases your mind, and walks you through everything being done. He has amazing bedside manner, and keeps the family updated through everything. He is very warm and welcoming. His team is also so supportive. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs his care.

Dr. Krucoff and Kaitlyn Mark have provided great care since my brain tumor diagnosis in July 2024. Definately recommend.

What stood out in my initial visit was a genuinely concerned surgeon who had already read my chart and history. I felt an immediate relaxation. His words were soothing and he gave me not only one option, but 4 to ponder. His whole team was very impressive in helping me with my decision on my own disease and potential outcomes. I recently had the privilege of being treated by Dr. Max Krucoff and Kaitlyn Mark, PA. After a devastating diagnosis of a cancerous brain tumor in the Emergency Department, I was admitted to the hospital and met with both Dr. Krucoff and Kaitlyn Mark, PA, their professionalism and expertise were evident throughout all my meetings and treatment with them both. They took their time to explain my condition and upcoming surgery in detail and answer all my questions. I went from terrified to prepared to fight! Surgery went perfectly. Post operative care was exceptional. I met with both of them everyday while in the hospital to make sure I was on track for the best recovery and explain the next steps to attack this disease. I was flown from fort Atkinson hospital to Froedtert w/ massive septic meningitis and lg brain abscess Dr Krucoff performed emergency brain surgery to save my life. Was in coma for about a week n he was so professional and compassionate , took the time to explain literally everything to me, as it happened so fast I have no memory of any of it and I was indeed clueless I was very scared and panic stricken and his bedside manner is above and beyond and he made me feel very comfortable and at ease He was very careful and thorough in my assessing my post op concerns I am happy to say I have no further residual effects from everything I’ve been through. I will be forever grateful to Dr Krocoff and everyone at Froedtert

My husband was transferred from local hospital to froedert for neurosurgery due to metastatic malignancy to brain. We were very fortunate to have had Dr. Krucoff on call. Don't let his young face fool you...lol... he is very knowledgeable, skillful and caring! He explained options and procedures well, answered all of our questions and we participated in husband's plan of care!! Surgery was on a Thursday and we were home on Saturday. Surgical site looks great. Do not hesitate to choose Dr. Krucoff, you will be happy you did. We are very grateful to/for him.

Dr. Krucoff and his PA, Kaitlyn Mark are our heroes. I was diagnosed with NPH (Normal Pressure Hydrocephaly) late in 2020 after the symptoms of stalled walking, memory problems, and increased incontinence finally got me to a neurologist. Dr. Krucoff was my neurosurgeon who last year placed a shunt in my brain to drain the excess fluid. The hero part is that he gave me back my quality of life that was fast deteriorating under the weight of all those ever more serious symptoms. It has been a year since the surgery and life is good! His professionalism, kindness, knowledge, skill, and compassion for me have given me back so much of what I was fast losing to this treatable condition. It seemed as though I was aging rapidly in ways that would deprive me of the things I love to do, and I wasn't sure how to get back to myself. The surgery and Dr. Krucoff reversed that decline, got me clear and moving again. I shall be ever grateful and recommend him unconditionally.

Dr. Max Krucoff and his office staff are outstanding. I am from the medical world so am very picky. Dr. Krucoff was clear and concise with detailed explanations, listened to our concerns and answered every question very much to our satisfaction (also with a little humor thrown in!) On top of all this my son had a pretty good outcome from surgery! His office staff is stellar and thorough and are understanding with brain tumor patients. They responded quickly when we had questions post-op and took our concerns very seriously.

Dr. Krucoff performed brain surgery on my mom to take out a brain tumor. He was able to accept her as a transfer from another hospital and I'm so thankful he did. He was knowledgeable, clear, direct, excellent communicator, and didn't make us feel rushed.
