Very Knowledgeable-Wait Time & Office Staff Issues
Dr. Seiter knows his stuff. He was personable and took adequate time to explain my injury and options. I was left feeling confident about his abilities and would have selected him as my surgeon. The only issue I had with Dr. Seiter is we waited for over an hour past our appointment time to be seen. The incompetence of the office staff and schedulers is reflected in my rating. I was given incomplete and misinformation regarding their network status with my insurance by their staff. As it turns out, Vail Summit and their surgeons are in network but their surgery centers are not. So they can diagnose a problem but not fix it? It doesn't make sense. My only option was to pay out of pocket ($26K-$66K) for the surgery center. I feel like it was a bait and switch. They (by their own admission) should have notified me of that up front.

Knee Deep in Recovery: Overcoming my ACL tear
Every visit with Dr. Seiter has been straightforward, effective, and enjoyable, often leaving me with a laugh or two to lighten the process. At my most recent appointment—the one determining if I was ready to ski again—Dr. Seiter walked in and immediately reassured me, saying, “You getting back to skiing is exactly what I want you to be doing.” His confidence in my recovery and confirmation of a strong, stable ACL gave me the boost I needed to ski later that very day. This recovery journey has been long and challenging, filled with personal highs and lows as I worked to rebuild my body in ways I hadn’t before. I’m incredibly thankful for Dr. Seiter’s expertise, professionalism, and ability to balance seriousness with an upbeat attitude that put me at ease during every visit. His encouragement made a world of difference.Thank you, Dr. Seiter, for helping me return to the slopes with strength and confidence!

Broken Clavicle
I broke my clavicle over a year ago and am still experiencing limitations and pain. The break is very offset and I was initially told nothing could be done and that I would never recover from this fall. After seeing Dr. Seiter I have hope.

Hip Replacement Surgery
In my 63 young years of life, Dr. Seiter is the best orthopedic surgeon I have ever had, and as a veteran and someone who works with mustangs, I have had my fair share of orthopedic surgery. In May of 2022, Dr. Seiter preformed a full hip replacement on my right hip, I was up and walking a mile a day in less than 10 days after my surgery!!! By summer I was back to hiking miles a day with absolutely no pain, it was a godsend. Not only is Dr. Seiter a skilled surgeon, he is also a kind and compassionate human being. He took the time to present all of the options available, along with his professional recommendation! I highly recommend Dr. Seiter and Vail-Summit Orthopedics, they are top-notch!

Excellent Surgeon
Dr. Seiter performed a reverse shoulder replacement on me in June 2022. In December I blew out my right rotator cuff repair and consulted again with Dr. Seiter. He offered to perform another rotator cuff repair and explained that my situation wasn't ideal for a second repair, but that it could be done, if that was what I wanted to do. Or I could consider another reverse shoulder replacement. I opted for the reverse shoulder replacement. He answered all of my questions and made sure I was informed about and comfortable with all of the aspects of my procedure, each time. For the first surgery, I was in a sling for about 3-4 weeks. For the second which was less than a year later, I was in a sling for less than a week. He provided my PT with specific treatment plan details for optimizing my outcomes and had me begin PT within a few days of my procedure. I have full range of motion in both arms and couldn't be happier! He is a very personable surgeon with impressive skills.
