I was referred to this doctor by my Primary Care Physician's colleague. Immediately, I could see we were not a good fit. She didn't listen, nor did she have any sense of urgency! I literally gave her my diagnosis and shared that I had experienced the issue in the past. She discounted my information and and wanted to diagnose me with something that I found offensive and stereotypical. As requested, I had an ultrasound and waited on her suggestions. She told me that the ultrasound looked fine and to keep taking the antibiotic. Meanwhile my Primary Care Physician referred me to another general surgeon who saw me the same day, reviewed the same ultrasound and radiology report and scheduled me for outpatient surgery within 48 hours. I would be seriously ill, maybe even dead had I followed Dr. Rios instructions. Any one considering this physician should RUN in the opposite direction!
