Dr. Mayur Patel, MD

There are not enough words in the dictionaries to express how absolutely wonderful this doctor AND his staff is...caring, patient, thorough, helpful, and takes the time to answer ALL and any questions. They are the epitome of how every human being 'should' treat each other. I am 71 and have never, never had a doctor and staff show the caring and compassion and thoroughness that Dr. Patel and his whole staff have shown. They are... Remarkable !!

Dr. Patel has changed our lives. I started with Dr. Patel when my husband and I decided to start trying for children. Little did we know that we had four miscarriages ahead of us before we would have our perfect little girl. During our struggles, Dr. Patel was nothing but supportive, encouraging, and real with us. He went the extra step in so many ways for us and helped us to keep the hope that one day we would end up with a little one. He was realistic, yet gentle along the way. Low and behold, on our fifth try we had our miracle baby. As we knew he would be, Dr. Patel was supportive the entire way, gentle with my concerns and anxiety of another pregnancy, and available every step of the way. There wasn't a phone call he didn't hop on immediately or a question or concern left unanswered or acknowledged. In June, our little girl came via a scheduled c-section, which couldn't have been a better experience overall.

I have been a patient for 10 years with no plans to change. Dr. Patel is smart, genuinely cares about his patients and staff, and is very thorough-making sure to cover all options and outcomes. He delivered my 1st son via urgent csection and I am still in awe about his quick decision making and taking charge of the situation, as this was not something expected. He just delivered my 2nd as well via section although allowed me to feel validated throughout my pregnancy to try for a VBAC. High praise for him as well as his lovely staff in his office!

If I could rate zero stars I would, I’d like to start with that I somehow managed to obtain my cool and calmness while not only being yelled at but verbally abused with name calling. Because I remained collective the manager Jacqueline got even more aggressive and refused to let me see the doctor even though I gathered my documents before the time deadline she gave me which was not easy due to my anxiety of her yelling and slamming objects and the glass door. I am very happy to have had witnesses to these absorb behavior.

I am well into my 70's, coming for annual checkups. Dr. Patel is very pleasant and a good listener, and I never feel rushed. Having moved to a new area a few years ago, I now travel 40 mins to get to his practice, but it's worth it.

Dr. Patel is very thorough and includes me in the decision making with respect to my health. When I called in a question, he personally got on the phone to talk to me - welcome and unusual in this day and age. It is easy to schedule a near-term appointment and his staff is friendly and efficient.

We have been visiting doctor Patel with ours 3 labor and 3 of them have done perfectly. He always take care of his patients like family. He makes amazing decisions for you and baby and your family.

The only thing my husband and I can't understand, is why more people aren't talking about Dr. Patel. A year and a half ago we decided to start "not not trying" for a baby. After a month, I was pregnant. 9 weeks after that, I miscarried. Through the entire awful experience, Dr. Patel was nothing short of amazing. He was available at any hour, attentive, reassuring (to both me and my husband), caring, and helped us gently understand what we were dealing with. Since then, he alked us through a chemical pregnancy and now a second miscarriage. In our worst moments, we always come back to how lucky we have been to find Dr. Patel to help us during these trying times. While we are moving on to fertility treatments, we are both so excited to be able to return to Dr. Patel with good news in the near future. Despite the struggles we have faced, Dr. Patel has kept our hope alive and been honest when he has had to, and encouraging when he can be. I trult can't say enough good things about this man.

Dr. Patel delivered my healthy baby boy in July 2018. It was my first child and a little bit of a high risk pregnancy due to my age and blood type. I was very nervous and scared. I couldn't have asked for a better doctor for my baby and myself. Dr. Patel was so kind and patient. He totally put me at ease and answered all of my questions and addressed all of my concerns. The delivery went off without any issues and I will be forever grateful to Dr. Patel and his staff for thier excellent care and kindness.

I would recommend dr patel to anyone. He does not make you feel rushed like other doctors. He answers all questions and concerns without making you feel silly for asking. He takes them all seriously unlike some doctors who tell you everything that happens is "normal"... very personable and caring. His staff is excellent as well. The girls in the office are very sweet and helpful.

Dr.Patel is amazing he delivered two of my children back to back, always answered all my conerns,questions & calls any time of day. He is very knowledgeable. I recommend him to everyone! You Will definitely be in safe hands.

He's the best

Dr. Mayur Patel has been my OBGyn for about a year now. He delivered my child via C-Section at Riverview Hospital. He has the most wonderful and caring bedside manner and is extremely knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him to anyone. It is also nice that he is not in a practice of doctors, because you only see him at every appointment and know that he will be there on delivery day!

Dr Mayur is excellent, he saved my life! I checked myself into the ER for severe lower abdominal pain. I was assigned Dr Mayur, he came in very personable and explained what my options were in terms of treatment. He was very honest about the possible outcomes and performed a life saving operation on me. I have him to thank that I am able to still be here enjoying my life!
