Horrible medical practice and practitioner.
Telehealth
Do your best to avoid this practice and seek a competent and caring medical professional. This practice does not value patients' time or health. I have been treated rudely by staff and Dr. Mehta on more than one occasion. They do not notify patients of appointment reminders, cancelations, reschedules showing a clear disdain for our personal time.Most recently, I waited over an hour in the virtual waiting room, for the review of a sleep study it took nearly 6 months to get and another 2 months for this appointment, with no notice of delay or check-in from staff. After more than an hour, I hung up to call the office only to find it closed at 3:30pm despite 9-5pm listed hours.

$620 bill, No Results
They took my money and gave me nothing. I had to pay $620 (after insurance) for a test that didn't work and lousy service. When I first signed up for a consultation, I spoke with Dr Mehta for maybe 10 minutes and she recommended that I perform an at-home sleep study with them. I did schedule an appointment, but when I came in to pick-up the sleep study, the machine was malfunctioning and I went home empty-handed; having wasted a half-day off of work. When I next came back the kit was working and I performed the study and dropped it off the next morning. About a week later they called me saying that the study only showed snoring and that they couldn't do anything else for me and that they would refer me to another specialist for an in-lab study. I never got a call from the place they supposedly referred me to, and a bill came in the mail requiring me to pay $620 (after insurance) for the at-home study that yielded no results.

Condescending and unhelpful
I never leave bad reviews, but I feel it's important to let others know that this practice has been completely unhelpful in helping me to solve my sleep problems. The staff members can be rude, but the doctor's attitude was alarmingly condescending and dismissive. Through every step of the process, it grew clearer and clearer that the only function of this practice is to sell C-PAP machines. I would highly recommend finding a physician who's willing to consider all factors in assisting with your sleep problems, and not simply whether or not you have sleep apnea.

Dr Mehta can be very dismissive and abrupt. Virtual appointments run about 5 to 7 minutes. No time for information, questions, and discussion. No personal connection.

Dr. Mehta and her staff are wonderful! It's easy to schedule appointments - even Urgent visits at the office or on the phone. She is thorough, explains everything and is truly compassionate. I trust her with my life!

Making an appointment was a hassle w rude and unprofessional staff. They don’t have any desire to make it a pleasant experience for sure. Seemed like all they want is to make the $650 through the sleep study and then hook you up with the CPAP machine salespeople. No recommendations for an easier remedy like lose weight etc., only after I found out how there are so many other alternatives besides the CPAP. Obviously I went because I have uncomfortable sleep patterns. I cannot in good conscience recommend anyone for Dr Mehta. Terrible staff terrible experience. just terrible.

Dr. Mehta's office staff seem completely unorganized, and have a hard time keeping track of appointments - I have had multiple mess-ups. During my sleep test I discovered it would be just me (an older woman) and her male technician alone all night, with him watching me sleep. He was a lovely man, but I felt uncomfortable. You mainly see the NP who speaks *very* heavily accented English - hard to understand. The nurse (not NP) didn't know what hypopneas were. She works at a sleep clinic!

The office staff, while friendly enough, is consistently disorganized and unreliable. The stony-faced doctor is frosty when not downright rude. I regret following my PCP's suggestion to consult Dr. Mehta. After wasting a few hundred dollars on an initial visit, dealing with the office staff's repeated mistakes, and never getting the diagnostic test for which I'd been sent to Dr. Mehta, I'm going elsewhere.
