Four years I was seen at this practice, over 2 years seeing Dr Bielawski. Expressed concerns over my health symptoms, she just ignored them, all she did was give me shots for osteoporosis..four years I lived with my issues..saw another rheumatologist, 20 minutes into my first appointment with my new rheumatologist, and he told me , he knew what my problem was, had a procedure done, and finally have a dx and started on a trt plan…she, on the other hand was worthless, no interest whatsoever in helping me.. the staff there is also bad, they would not reschedule an appointment for me, when stated my concerns to Bielawski, she said it wasn’t documented..that raised red flags for me…in a nutshell…I WOULD NOT GO TO HER AS A PATIENT IF YOU THINK YOU HAVE ANYTHING OTHER THAN OSTEOPOROSIS, NOT EVEN FOR THAT…SHE HAS NO INTEREST IN HELPING YOU AS A PATIENT…so many other rheumatologists out there that actually care about treating you. A friend recommended Dr. Bielawski to me as her daughter has a great relationship with her. However, I did not have the same experience. I asked about a specific disease, and was brushed off during my first appointment. At my follow up visit, Dr. Bielawski indicated that I have mild OA and fibromyalgia (even though an xray report *she* dictated indicates moderate to severe OA), which she was unable to treat me for, and sent me packing with no follow up appointments. I sobbed the whole drive home. I simply cannot believe how a rheumatologist is unable to treat a patient with osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia. I was not offered anything for pain (I had already told her I did not want narcotics), I was not offered any suggestions for lifestyle changes or stretching exercises to improve mobility and pain tolerance. I was simply told that she was unable to help me and was discharged from her practice. I would not recommend Dr. Bielawski.

I had been seeing Dr. Richter, who has now retired, for some health issues. I saw Dr. Bielawski twice (the first visit I had to go as a new patient again). Though my lab work was again abnormal, I was dismissed as a patient and was told to come back if anything NEW came up. A simple physical assessment shows that I have physical issues that needed to be addressed by a rheumatologist. She asked me why I was there and I told her that my PCP wanted me to follow up with a rheumatologist. I will NOT be returning to her.

I saw Dr. Megan for the first time and she spent 45 minutes with me. I can not say enough good things about the wonderful care I received, how thorough she was and how she listened to me and answered all of my questions. She is WONDERFUL.

I have never had such a fantastic expierence with a doctor. I usually dread going to the Doctors office. I went to the hospital due to passing out. The nurses drew blood and checked my BP, along with other assorted tests. Dr beilowski reviewed my chart and literally came running into my room asking if I had an EKG ordered and what the heart health history was in my family. She ordered an EKG and found possible LVH. She treated me like an actual person and not another name on her list. 5+ stars
